On September 29, join The Redemption Kinship on a walk from Bag End, the Shire to the docks of Celondim to honor our dear friend Felinstray.

For many of us, LOTRO is more than just a game. It is a place where we get to experience the rich world of Tolkien. LOTRO is a place where we get to share our love for Middle Earth and its rich lore with other Tolkien fans and probably most importantly it is a place where we can form deep and meaningful relationships with other players. Whether those members be kinship members or just familiar names we see in the World Chat they all matter.

Over the last 15 years of playing LOTRO, many of us have lost people very important to us. Both in-game and in our own personal lives. This, and every subsequent September 29th, the day that Elrond, Galadriel, Gandalf, Frodo, Bilbo, and several others depart from the Grey Havens to go to the Undying Lands into the Uttermost West, the Redemption Kinship would like to begin the tradition of honoring our past loved ones by walking from Bag End in the Shire, up through Needle Hole, taking the Swift Travel horse from Needlehold onward to Duillond then walking to the Docks of Celondim.

There will be three walks to accommodate people in different time zones. 12 pm Server Time, 6 pm server time, and 10:30 pm server time. We encourage Landroval bands to set up along the walking route to play in honor of those we’ve lost. We encourage bards and minstrels to play along the way.
