Your characters will still be there stuck on Eldar sadly. They have said they intend to open up transfers from the closed servers again in the future but like most things with SSG it will be later rather than sooner.

I see. This was indeed the response I got from support. Saying they are intact, but transfer from a closed world is not available right now.
