Warning about current scam activity in game

A reminder that GMs do not provide free gifts, especially through clicking links, and anyone in game offering gifts through an Internet link is likely trying to steal your account. Please report such spammers and scammers through help.standingstonegames.com.

As we approach our anniversary we are again seeing scammers attempting to steal players' accounts with in-game messages. The most typical scam involves someone claiming to be a GM telling people they can get rewarded by following a link. NEVER FOLLOW THE LINK. GMs do not engage in promotional anniversary messaging, so any message claiming to come from a GM in world chat asking you to go to a web site is not legit.
