Every holiday you put on lotro double the points sales. I had saved up $600 Canadian to buy more points when this sale landed, woke up this morning to discover no sale.... very disappointed given sales this week but I will not buy points unless sale of them is on and has been that way for 11 years. Kind of shameful cause I bet you would have gotten a lot of money doing it this week.

I can almost guarantee that after the 13th? (when this current valar sale ends), they'll be some kind of double points offer for the anniversary. They've done it many times, done a valar offer after a long awaited time, then done actual LP sales after lmao.

MMO companies do not like having sales on currency like LOTRO points while a good sale on services or items is going on. Granted some will buy then if they need the currency for a sale they like but experience has shown the companies that more people spend greater amounts before a sale in *hope* that there will be a sale they really like.
