    More swift travel in Moria

I really would like to see some more swift travel routes in Moria.

    So would I.

After all these years, I can pretty much move around Moria unhindered, by using some tactics, but I'd really like to see the swift travel opened up throughout the region. Other regions too. For example, the rep requirement for swift travel in Mirkwood.

If you would have asked me before the "so called" revamp, I would have hugely disagreed but at this stage it may as well have all the stables connected to each other by swift for a few reasons...

    a) As much as it pains me to say it because I love Moria and the best part is adventuring and learning to run about and spotting great scenery but because of where the game is now - new folks and some old timers don't have time to run about on foot and learn an area this size in 3D.

    b) If this helps those who don't want to again or haven't completed the extensive epic stories in Moria which leads nicely into Mirkwood then opening up as many routes as possible to allow this would be a great thing.

That being said Volume one has some extensive back and forth travel for which most can be bypassed with Mithril travel but at this stage it would be nice for the volume one epic to get a few more links as well - although they have polished this some years back which is good. But, I would hate any new player to miss out on doing the epic stories because it is still bound by the obvious limitations which were quite rightly initiated when the content was new to make the expacs seem bigger or larger than they actually are.

Here is hoping this can get bumped up in "THE" list of jobs.

Indeed there are many changes that need to be made to the game and this is something that definitely takes time, but watching the update logs I get the impression that there are "changes" and "fixes" that have no substance in practice, and sadly none of the players' requests are included. It would be professional to move them from the bottom of your list to a more prominent place.

Can you add a "return to" skill to 21st hall too? It's one of those locations I always have to give up a milestone for, because I do still go there a lot after finishing the zone..... a "return to" skill bound to Kindred reputation of either miners or guards (or maybe both) that can be purchased from a vendor in the hall would be perfect, and very helpful.

Also, a direct stable route from South Bree to 21st Hall would be a great thing. (Must discover 21st Hall first, of course).
Moved from Riddermark to Arkenstone on 9/29/2015!

One single quickride would resolve most problems. Between 21st Hall and Orc Watch.

There is little or nothing that cannot be gotten to fairly quickly from one of those two locations. Right now we have that quickride but it is only one way and requires taking a quest like the Gandalf express from Bree to Rivendell.

A return to the 21st Hall would be consistent with what SSG has in later zones. But requiring kindred makes it useless to many people and SSG has things like that at friend or acquaintance faction later on in the game so let's change the kindred requirement for the Moria travel skills to friend.

Having recently leveled multiple characters through Moria on Treebeard, I actually think the swift travel options are fine as is. Once you get 21st hall you can pretty much get everywhere easily.
Servers: Treebeard | Arkenstone | Landroval
    Classes: Hunter | Champion | Loremaster | Warden | Beorning | Guardian | Captain | Burglar
    Creeps: Warleader | Reaver

Yeah, 21st hall "return to" would have been the best option to easily solve some slowdowns. No idea why Scenario would have to add even more of different routes all over the place when there are already so many routes added and these swift horses in place. Sometimes it feels to me like players want to just teleport ideally from under the settings to every single hub and don't even walk/ride a centimeter through landscape (plus milestone slots are in the store for a reason too, for such convenience to begin with, like there gotta be some incentive to buy those if SSG wanna earn some extra revenue?)

In lieu of fixing the whole swift system, I think adding a "return to 21st Hall" at a low reputation level would be a good stopgap.

Normally I would agree with you, but some of the routes are just too much, like from Orc Watch to 21st Hall for example. And I'm the farthest from rushing levels as you can get.

I think it is unprofessional to seek revenue from the routes. This is abusive because players already spend enough on the game.
I think SSG should not be so aggressive about collecting their profits.
And finally, if they choose this way to speculate, then why do they deprive players of easy travelling?
They could simply activate many more paid routes throughout the game to meet all players' expectations.

But that's why applying milestone upon first reaching it sounds ideal? Plus you would have return to 21st. Also, wasn't there already a swift goat to Orc Watch or not for this one? (so then just add swift goat, solved)

They don't "deprive", the routes just don't exist, to make them, and to make them in some perfectly 100% coverage way no less, is to spend precious dev time on this. (And they don't deprive for new content, because they make them in a well-covered way). And they've already done it in Moria. Why go back two or three times to do the same? I would rather have the devs working on new things, adding other missing things never touched, things that can add something to game or make it better, or just fix bugs.

Now, I don't disagree with you in general - but just disagree in this case and in the current state of the game, because common sense tells me the sources of their revenue in store would be convenience and slots (storage). Everything else I'm really not sure about, only SSG knows the specifics but I have a feeling that if they want to shift and actually earn something substantial from cosmetics/housing/and such (like other games do) - from general player populace, not just fanatics interested in such things - they need a massive store overhaul so it doesn't look like a cheap mobile collectible game where you can't even preview the items you're buying (so the overall impression is lame and unappealing, and looking up stuff you wanna buy on the wiki or De Mileu site is as cheap as it gets, a casual won't do that).

So that's why I think getting rid of all such "inconvenient moments" of the game, logically, may translate to drop in their sales of these convenience things. (Does Scenario keep in touch with the "sales" department? Do the sales people know/monitor/approve of such ideas to make all travel in the game so perfectly convenient, something that's usually a part of these side dev projects? That's a good question). Now, they have instant travel through Mithril too, but Mithril (outside of few uses for housing) is a type of "casino" "tokenized" "instant gratification" currency with time limited purchase power, a little mithril here, a little mithril there, click that button, we know you can't resist it. Some customers don't take kindly to that, they're insistent not to use it. I'm one of them but I'm happy to pay for things with LP, where cautiously I make a purchase of the specific thing I need and I'm getting full access to it.

But you know what's totally bonkers, in my opinion? All swifts locked behind "gotta subscribe!" paywall. Like, it's stupid. I guess Raninia initiated some changes and they mostly gotten rid of that old old model but this one is still there. It should just be a one-time purchase for LPs. Far more accessible and less confusing. Or make it even less harsh, so don't lock every single swift behind that, maybe just some, but make all the major ones (Michael Delving-to-Bree, for example) for free. But the game gotta earn so they need to be smart about it to be sure.

IMHO 21th Hall important and vital hub for many people and port to 21th must be available for everyone.

This seems to be happening but in the wrong way, changing things that perhaps should not be changed and overtaking important changes.

Surely this is something that shouldn't exist when you can already buy or pay with LP.
