Lorebook quest pages don't list reputation rewards

It'd be great to see the reputation rewards on the quest pages. It would also be awesome to be able search for quests by their reputation reward. For example, find all quests that reward Bree reputation.


On a tangential note, another nice addition to the quest pages would be a bulleted list of the objectives (like what you see on the quest tracker in-game).

Hmm... I'm of two minds about this; I can see some benefit to putting the objectives in the Lorebook. However, the text could chew up a lot of screen real estate. Anyone else want to chime in with their thoughts? Useful or too much information to include in the 'book?

I would make the detail text an optional link. Treat this like you do the 'history' portion of the Quest Log perhaps........

I know for another website that I worked on doing something similar to the Lorebook (not as pretty...kudos on that!) this was something we wrestled with, too. I know when we asked that community, the majority was to keep it out and let there be some sense of surprise to the quests.

If it were to be included, a *spoiler* option would almost be required...

For instance, if a quest is "Go Rescue Bob Dobbalina", and step 3 is "Go Tell Bob's Daughter That He's Dead", it ruins the story-telling the quest writer(s) was going for.

However, if the follow-up quest bestower dialogue is "Avenge Bob's Death", you've pretty much already got that in there.

if you do include the objectives, then you will need to include a spolier tag or some such so that people cant just see it in plain veiw on the page.

also, i think that there should be 2 versions of it, one with the the bullet points on the page, hidden behind spoiler tags, and then the full "Quest History" that we can veiw in the quest log on a seperate page

I myself was just thinking today how much I would like to be able to search the lorebook for weapons with buffs like +damage to beasts, or spiders and insects and such. Good for refining my search for the perfect weapons for every situation.

Well I asked for it because it provides a concise description of the quest and makes it very easy (for me) to identify a quest. Most of the time I don't remember a quest by name, but instead by its objectives. Most quests wouldn't take up more than 4 lines of text, and only 1 if they're behind a spoiler tag. Hopefully searching for quests by 'description' would also search the objectives.

I'd love to see bulleted objectives listed in the completed quests list in game as well, but I'm guessing that's out of your domain Duwis .

I favor making as much information available as possible. Spoiler tags make it possible for those who want 'less' to have it, while those who want 'more' can also have that. Keep the widest possible array of options open to satisfy the widest possible range of playstyles.
