Are the Bears Working Right With Their Roars Now?

I am wondering, as odd things seem to be happening. They aren't spinning around now of course. But one recently kind of barked at me, no induction ring, and I suddenly got the roar debuff.

Also I sometimes am getting the roar debuff even when I have run quite far behind them. Is the roar an AOE that is supposed to have a chance of hitting from behind?

No. The roar is now a 180 degree attack, so you shouldn't be affected when behind the bear. I can't remember when I made this fix, so I don't know if it's on the Live servers now or not.

Can the arc-attack tech be retroactively applied to giants with their wind-up inductions? We should easily be able to outmanouevre them.

It usually doesn't affect me, but I have been fighting a lot of Forachel bears, and about 10% of the time my characters gets the roar negatives even when quite far behind the bear.

Ahh... the Forochel bears. They might be setup a bit differently, so I might've missed them with my changes. I'll take a look.
