    What is feasible?

I know it has been stated a person could go to level 65 without spending a dime, just using in-game earned points.

My question is: it possible to get to level 50 without spending ONE Turbine Point? How feasible is it?

Will Sarnur and Breeland dungeons be available?

I suppose if you are a commited F2P you WILL be earning and spending points, opening up higher level zones. Leveling to 50 may not be so daunting a task, so this is more of an academic question.

It really depends on if the person has the dedication (and patience) to grind that many mobs - it would take quite a while, but it should be perfectly feasible.

I'm quite convinced someone, somewhere will consider it a challenge to hit 50 without spending a single Turbine point along the way. In fact, I'd almost be disappointed if no one did.

That might be me if you guys don't deliver the goods with the fall new content! j/k

I think the guy who was deleting characters when they died (perma-death) would be a good candidate for the job.

How many skirmishes free players get access to will help folks accomplish this. Provided they do get the daily repeatables.

Edit, ah just re-read the VIP chart, 4 skirmishes. But it does not actually say if the daily repeatable quests will be available.

Forgot about skirmishes, they do level up with the player. But you have to hit level 30 first right? Sounds very do-able now. It will be REAL slow getting xp 25-30 though, hehe...

Hehe, I'm the type of personality where I will probably start a F2P account just to see how much I can open up without spending a penny.....

You can level to 25+ easily enough just doing Bree alone, and using epics/skirmishes should be interesting.

Though I'm sure they are bound to adjust Volume 1, Book 2. Right now, in order to finish the book you have to get at least Acquaintance with Eglain, but to gain that rep you will need to have LL quest pack......very sneaky....

Where do you need Eglain rep to finish Volume 1 Book 2? None of my toons have acquaintance with the Eglain but most have finished Book 2.

When they re-vamped Lone-Lands. It's 1.2.6 - Protected By the Egalin. After Weathertop Instance and before you meet Radagast you have to first gain rep with the Eglain.

You know, I have a second account that I let go inactive. Got it when the SoA/MoM was on sale for $10, intending to use it to play the classes that I didn't have slots for at the time.

So I'll see your challenge and raise you, level 60.

Well, why don't YOU do it ? Since YOU are telling everyone that you don't need to spend on quest packs.

Go ahead, start a new char, do only the quests in Ered Luin, Breeland & The Shire. After that, only level with killing mobs & the epic line, no more quests allowed. And no more then 2 traits. Or 3 bags. Or 2 gold.

You post and post and post to say it is possible. Well, prove it. Go ahead and do it, everything is in the game to prove that you can.

Seriously... Saying you can do the epic story line without buying quest packs is like saying you can build the Eiffel Tower in real size with matches. Surely, you are not LYING, cause technically it IS possible. But next to no one will do the grind and you know it. You are just making a PR-spinning with a half-truth.

So, anyways. I'm going to give it a go. I'm going to open a free account in addition to my sub anyways... and I hate to pay for anything, and plan on saving all my points on the free account to open expansions... might as well go all the way to 50 before I unluck the other stuff.

So... the restrictions are... free to play content and setup only until 50, no transfers of good or gear from alts. Sound fair?

What part of challenge isn't registering? How is it a 'half-truth' if it is feasibly possible w/ in game earnings of TP?

Let him go. Despite the inclement weather, we still plan on holding the parade.
