Make It Easier To See Posts From Turbine Employees

Make it easier to see posts made by the forum mods or other Turbine employees. The old board had their names in green or blue. It was easy to know who worked for Turbine and who was a customer. Now it appears that everyone's name is the same. Same color, same font/size, same everything. While there is the forum title underneath the name, it's still the same color/font that everyone else has. Before you could tell who was a Turbine employee at a glance. Now you really have to look close in order to tell.

Some suggestions on things to do to make the post unique for Turbine employees may include:

• Make name a different color. Green and blue were good before.
• Make names bold to stand out more.
• Make names a bigger font.
• Put a red line/bar on the left margin of the post to highlight it. Should be a thick line so it can be seen easier.

Use a combination of things to make the names and/or posts different and stand out from everone else's. The main thing is that there should be no doubt that a post is made by a Turbine employee.

Besides the post itself, it would be nice to be able to see if a dev/mod has posted in a thread. Maybe a red bar on the lefthand margin of the thread listing if a dev/mod or other Turbine employee posted in it. This would need to be able to be set on a case by case basis.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one bothered by this. It's kinda annoying that I have to sit and study a persons title to see if they are an employee of Turbine or just some know it all forum goer.

It does now. But it didn't 2 or 3 days ago. I think it was the forum update they did on Tuesday. And it's a good start, too. At least it's a bit easier to tell now. I do think, though, that something more can still be done to make their posts stand out more.

The mods can make it so that some of their posts don't show up in the tracker. They determine which of their posts need to be able to be found quickly (ie with the tracker)

I'm going to add another suggestion of the same type to this thread: Change the color of the Turbine employee's name where it appears in the New Posts thread search. I completely overlooked a post by Jesenne because I forgot she's an employee and when I saw the thread was locked I thought it was someone being an idiot (sorry, Jesenne, it's a really good post now that I read it).

As it is now, anyone who starts a thread has a white name and the last poster has a yellow link name no matter who they are (or however you've changed your color settings). This makes it too easy to overlook posts by more obscure Turbinites like Jesenne or Forsaken Archer; especially when their posts don't show in the Dev Tracker.

A side note: Jesenne does not have a colored name or Turbine icon with her post, stop neglecting her! *thinks to self* I hope Jesenne is a she or I might get /smited.
