New forum accounts posting

Or people with alternate accounts wanting to troll without accountability.

A number of us have multiple Lotro accounts. With the web site change we are locked into the first Lotro account for our forum access. Khafar is one such example. Khafar is not attached to his first Lotro account. I think he using Erandir with a Khafar at the end of each message.

This issue has been addressed with today's maintenance.

As for the OP, I would imagine you'll continue to see a steady flow of new faces and forum handles for some time.

The option to choose my correct Live subscription forum name seems to work, but it defaults back to the incorrect beta subscription and forum name every time I log out and back in. Is there a way to make this change permanent?

TBH, I was just making a bad joke about the forum 'Join Date' glich.

Maybe it's just me, but most of the 'Join Dates' I see are Sept 2010.

At the top of the page where is says "Logged in as..." there should be a drop-down arrow that will allow you to switch to your other subscription on the account.

Yes. In fact we keep track of new members, new posts, reported posts, percentage of posts to reports, and generally watch your every move. Even now. Right now. Yes, I saw that.

Well at first I was going to start grumbling that my forum access has not been fixed but then did notice the drop down arrow. Hip, hip, hooray! I feel complete again. Ok, lotteries, I am ready for you.

Thanks for the info. However, I've got no drop-down after my forum name up top. The only drop-down is after 'My Preferences'.

I hope that you can get it fixed. I know that on one of my laptops the drop-down arrow is not there at first and I had to click the name before I got the drop-down the first time. It was a little more painful getting it working on that computer than the first. (This is also the computer that gets the white boxes and "false", if that helps.)

Yes, I have 3 accounts available on the drop-down (karakedi, meodam, and karakedi_beta), but even when I sign in as karakedi, I default to karakedi_beta and keep the settings for the beta account. The background is green, not blue as in the log-in screen.

This situation persists even when I use the drop-down list after logging in. I still have access only to the early stock avatars, can list those characters I want to show for various things (that's new), but have no other privileges. I cannot post a custom avatar and have no other options than the two mentioned.

Furthermore, now that I have my regular member image for posts back, I have lost some posts (I was a senior member and have dropped to member with 99 posts), and my signature image is gone.
