Who tanked the forums and who forgot to fire the deputy...

First off.. YEAH I can post on the forums again...

Since our new forums arrived.. no forums.. no mylotro.. no bug reports.. you name it.. offline.. too bad.. too sad.. :P. Called Turbine on the phone, guy said he'd send my issue on and they'd get back to me in 2-3 weeks. O.o!

But working now.. if you have multi accounts like me under same account you can finally log in and choose your "Logged in as" at the menu way up at the top.. Yeah.. one down.. here is my top 5 things that tanked on the new system (add yours in also and i'll make a big list and send it to them):
1) Photo's on mylotro kin page & personal page...missing..
2) No way to fix Kin Icon on mylotro because the crop thing is messed up.
3) Community - Fansites.. etc.. not working
4) The really anoying swapping of the menu bar when you roll over another tab (by mistake or otherwise) .. and poof menu replaced with another menu.. Make those menus static based on what tab your in!
5) The My lotro navigation seems odd.. it should be more like "my Lotro page" & "my kinship page" to start & then featured members, and something like tips on making your lotro page better. Move all the news stuff to he News & Articles & throw in an RSS feed.

Oh and why is my sig jacked? GRRR :P

Sorry forums team.. but more testing should of been done.. everything now seems iffy at best. Im sure glad I didn't spend hundreds of hours working on mylotro page only to find it missing all my images and difficult to manage. :P Should of kept old system going until you got the new one working

I was in the same boat in terms of posting, but they fixed that (for everyone) 12 days ago now. You just have to pick your posting identity next to the "Logged in as ..." link at the top of the page. As for the rest: they're working through various issues. It's unfortunate they didn't get a chance to test all this out during the F2P beta, but for whatever reason they couldn't pull all that together in time.

Far and away the most annoying defect was the white "false" box that was up on every page for IE8 users. At least that's gone. And performance is decent for me now too - that was pretty ugly for the first week.

My forum access is still 'broken'. I have nothing showing after "Logged in as auximenes77" along the top. Well, I've got the other stuff, "| My Blog | Inbox | My Preferences | Log Out" but no way to change my forum account.

Click on where it says "Logged in as auximenes77" should have little arrow with pop-down. If you don't try logging out & back in. If that doesn't work .. reset your browser..remove cookies..etc.. and if that doesn't work.. mail turbine.. its busted :P

You just have to pick your posting identity next to the "Logged in as ..." link at the top of the page.

The expected username is 'auximenes'. I am able to log into the game properly with that one.

FWIW, on my account page on the main Turbine site, it has always listed 'auximenes77' as my forum name even though I always used 'auximenes' for the forums prior to the F2P launch. I have never been able to change anything regarding my forum log-in; I never get the email used to confirm any changes. Other account-based changes do generate the expected email, but never anything to do with the forum account.

BTW, Cookin' Mama AKA Clover, if you happen to be following this thread, I am unable to reply to your PM. I get nothing when I click 'Reply' or 'Forward'.
