Unable to log out of community site (others may be unable to log in)

I still have a valid session login cookie for the community sites. However, when I click on Log Out from any page, I get a "The connection has been reset" error in my web browser.

I've tried in IE8 and Firefox 3.6.13.

I suspect other players may be unable to log in right now, too.

Probably related to this issue is my earlier bug report about being unable to view any pages on the Lorebook site. I receive the error message:

Sorry! This site is experiencing technical difficulties.
Try waiting a few minutes and reloading.

I've just tried to replicate your error with my own copies of IE, Firefox, and Chrome, and I was unable to replicate the error. Then again, this could also be because I'm on the internal network and not accessing remotely.

However, I'm looking into it and will report back once I find something.

EDIT: I've replicated the error on my iPhone's Safari browser. Yay for technology. Escalating the issue.

Currently, the authentication page that logs people out and in is down due to some website maintenance on the myLOTRO sites.

I love the new lottery widget on its own page. The winning entries are so much clearer to read now!

However, I see a big old mess when I go to my user page now. Other user pages seem to display just fine.

It's a mess in IE8, Firefox, and Chrome, and is messy whether I am logged in or logged out.

Edit: This specific issue is resolved now. Maybe something was just being cached that shouldn't have been.

I do still have lots of characters listed that don't exist or haven't existed for years, but that's nothing new.

Not so good to hear; looked into it and it seemed related to the list of characters we had on file for you. I've cleared that issue up, but drop me a note here or via PM if it seems that you are missing a character in your list.

This is likely the character you might be missing in your list; it should ideally reappear (if necessary) when we get the character update jobs back up to speed.

Edit: Nevermind, I found it. Is the 'Home' page the only place we can now view the lotteries? I never use that page because, well, it's a word I can't use on these forums. Though I guess it's no big deal to use it just to enter lotteries every so often.

You can always bookmark the page that the "Enter to Win" graphic links to. Then, you can just jump right to the lottery form and lists rather than going to the home page.

It definitely is easier to read and/or find items. It also looks as if the recurring lotto winnings are consolidated so that they show characters that won at least one of the occurances. I wonder if this is only for past lotteries or future lotteries as well.

That's perfect! That is how I always did it before, I just wasn't sure if the bookmark would work because they tend not to (on the new site). I can have a thread bookmarked but when I click to go to it I end up on the forums list page or somewhere else until I click it again.
