    Can't do anything in the online store

    So, every time I go to look at any item for purchase in the online store, I get a message that reads something like "no items available for your character's level or class". This seems hard to believe considering that I can't even look at the expansion packs. What can I do to fix this problem?

    first if you are in the introduction still, you will be unable to view things, and also some are linked by level (plus being out of intro) so while the riding skill is available at level 5, you would not see it until you got out of the intro

    Yeah that's not the case. I'm not that stupid. My character is level 61. I'm currently playing in Mirkwood at the moment. Like I said, it doesn't make sense.

    If you already own something, it won't show up in the store.
    If you give away gold bars, someone will complain they're too heavy.

    I should also probably add that I have a VIP account. I don't know if that would make a difference with what one can do in the online store but I still just keep getting that same message every time I try to bring up an item to buy.

    NOTHING shows up. I wanted to get one of those new mounts they're offering but I can't (and to be clear, I don't have it). I just get the message for everything that I may not have the right level or class. But that's just wrong. I've gone through clicking on anything trying to see if something shows up and I get that same message for every single item.

    I have a feeling the OP is the kind of person who after being helped.... given an solution to his problem, would say "Oh how can i forget, I knew that" or "Oh I had a feeling that was the answer" or " i was thinking that too but wasn't 100% sure"

    Priority is to give credit to self even though he's the one to seek help and adding a small "thanks" to person deserving more credit.

    While its certainly not wrong to display this type of behavior, but some may easily perceive or label you as being ungrateful disturbance.

    Yeah, I apologize if I'm coming off as rude (didn't realize people on this board were so extremely sensitive), I honestly am grateful for any help people are willing to offer. But nobody's really offering up any real suggestions and the suggestions I've received so far have largely ignored what I have offered up for background information regarding my problem. It is a problem but people aren't offering solutions, just assuming that I don't know what I'm doing and don't know anything about the game. Is there a proxy setting that needs to be changed? I don't know. Some more information: the online store had been working great up to this past weekend, but I reformatted my hard drive over the weekend and had to reload everything on. Now the online store won't work.

    You must think we work for Turbine or something. Solutions?

    You need to submit a ticket to support for that.

    All we can give are suggestions as to what may be causing it, but we sure as heck don't know how to fix it.

    Are you looking at the store from in-game or from the log-in screen? I've noticed that I can't purchase anything for a specific character (i.e. mounts, cosmetics, etc.) from the log-in screen. I actually have to be in-game and on that character to be able to get something other than account wide purchases like shared storage.

    Kind of like the pot calling the kettle black. Seems like you just want a full out apology expecting me to admit that I was completely in the wrong without any gray areas. Nevermind the fact that you ignored that I said I truly appreciated the help. Which proves my prediction that you are extremely sensitive. Furthermore, you putting words in my mouth doesn't prove anything, it just makes you self-righteous and self serving. Never once did I imply that I was expecting my question to be already answered, but rather I was implying that I expected people to focus on the problem instead of assuming that I was making a mistake somewhere.

    Guys, this conversation is going nowhere good and it's not really helping the OP with his problem.

    My advice to you OP: Make sure you're logged into the game as a character before you check the store. Some items need to see your character to appear in the store.

    Also, items like quest packs and things that are already given to you via your VIP status will also not appear in the store, as you already have access to them.

    If everything in the store isn't appearing (like stat tomes, potions, mounts, cosmetic items, etc.) then file a ticket with our tech support, located here: http://support.turbine.com/ics/suppo...p?deptID=24001. Those items should appear in the store, regardless of your status.

    And, with that, closing the post.
