    New warden info?

A guy in the RoI thread claims the NDA has been lifted, and he then posted some screenies of the new armor sets coming with ROI. The one at the top of this link is the wardens new armor, and it looks damn sexy.

But whats more, look at the wardens skillbar, there are three things there I've never seen before, what could it be I wonder?

I was trying to start a fun discussion going, you ruined it

Lol but aye, I realized that myself after taking a closer look at the skills. Not hard when you see two shields, two fists, two spears...

Ok so some questions! Please Answer provided you are allowed!? Dont want to get people into any trouble!

Do you get an extra class trait slot?
Do you get an extra Legendary slot?
How has the LI system evolved if it has?
Is the new raid a proper challenge with rewarding loot? (And possibly the loot)

    For the Beta wardens;
How exactly does the potency/battle memory work?
Are the new gambits a significant addition to the warden gameplay?
Can you post the stats of the proposed new armour sets (PvP/PvMP)?
Is Never Surrender still a useless skill??
Can we have a sneak at the new proposed gambits?

Hope its not too much trouble to answer!

    Q

(posted this in the ROI forum but seem more properly fitted to here!)

The PvP armor sets are all the same bonus wise as the most current ones we have now, just revised stats up to 75. I think I remember a dev diary talking about it awhile ago.

    No class / legendary slot
LI same with new scrolls of empowerment
Didn't make raid event, heard it was difficult and awesome.

Potency - use double builder (or build it manually like a noob - jk) next gambit gets stored. Click the button and the stored gambit fires. Costs 1% or morale per length ie Wall of Steel costs 4% and boot costs 2%. Battle mastery does not last very long out of combat.

New gambits are nice, had some issues with the aggro drop though. I can't post a lot b/c I'm at work - I'm sure screen shots will be up soon.

Armor set is odd, lots of vit, little might, little agi and set bonuses that affect Never Surrender cooldown. Can post more later when I'm at home.

The double builders are traited, which is kind of annoying.

You really only need to trait one of them though

5 shield 2 fist are pretty nice. +Goad targets and fist mastery in addition to shield capstone build. Also, the +b/p/e shield traits are worthwhile now.

Cool Mysterion! I look forward to your posts later! A Beta tester hiding in our midst with an indepth knowledge of the warden is always helpful!

But I wants them all! Actually I had a really hard time picking a new build, taking away 3 slots (well 2 for the builder) really opens up some neat opportunities.

The 5-piece bonus for the new warden raid set has something to do with Never Surrender (reduced cooldown or something), as you can see it is forgettable.
The stats are are great though, just ridiculous amounts of vit.

Stat wise there is none better than the raid set (dragon).

Also I figure I should say this to any wardens worrying about getting in on the dragon-there's a 12 man version HM. I'm sure this has already been said, but I keep seeing people whine about never having enough people to do it.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were some changes to these sets (like OD) as if you notice the Minstrel set has zero finesse on it Hopefully we can get something good for a set bonus?

Here are the other set stats for those curious.
    Anawyne - 85 Warden, Iothelion - 69 Captain, Iothryth - 65 Minstral, Carawaru - 50s Champion

Agreed. The stats seem pretty lopsided for some classes and are probably subject to change.

The set bonuses in general seem pretty good for most classes. My opinion of the Warden set bonus will hinge on what changes they actually make to Never Surrender.

So NS goes from 30mins to 25mins.... oh thank god, I was worried it would be something laughable. I'm crying

Why would they need Finesse? They don't rely on targeting enemies, do they? Or do the new Ballads require you to hit? Hmmm....

Ya the set bonus is lame unless they make Never Surrender not utterly suck.

It would seem unfair to give them no finesse. They can hypothetically be a DPS class too.

No more than we can, really. They burst, and then they're OOP or on CD. We'll see how they've updated their DPS with the revamp, though...

Even if NS wasn't awful, even if it was OP, really a set bonus taking a skill from 30mins to 25mins is a pin ##### and pretty much useless.

If they don't get an off-spec set (which all the classes should), then they may need non-set pieces for their finesse if they are actually attacking. Also, with both tanks and healers, if you have one more than a particular encounter needs, then they should be dpsing (or as close proximity to it that they can get) for at least some greater benefit to the group.

That would make an unbuffed total morale of 12K+ give or take a few 100 morale.

Yeah, just to put it into perspective: that set alone would've almost fulfilled the 750 cap if caps had kept scaling at 10-per-level. Crazy.
