Class Deed: Strength of Voice broken?

Deed: Use Anthem of War 500 times.
Grants the Absolute Pitch trait.

Since the update I am stuck at 417 of 500. Did the deed move to a later level, i am level 52 right now. The Lorebook still says it is a level 30 deed. The Dev diary just told about the changed trait, nothing about a change in the deed.

So i wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. Or if it is working fine for you and it is just me.

I noticed on Tuesday this deed did not update.
On wednsesday I have tried in every stance (Harmony, War-speech and no stance) to get a gain. No succes. Made a ticket. The gamemaster ordered me to kill all kinds of mobs, while he watched. No succes. He adviced me to make a bug report and he closed the ticket.

On Thursday I was lucky enough to find a good group for GA. To my suprise my deed updated on trash mobs. I was trying every anthem on them to see what it did for a fellowship. In the end I gained 50 points, the daily max.

On Friday (after the server restart) it did not update anymore. I tried it in a fellowship, no succes. Today it did not update again.

There is a cap on how many times you can progress it per day. I believe it's the reset on the daily cap that is buggy, I've noticed it with all class deeds. Sometimes they stop progressing while remaining blue, the next day they turn yellow, and reset at some random time to blue again, at which time I can progress them again.

Well all my other deeds are working fine. Only this one is giving problems.

Today I finished the deed!

Here is how it worked for me: Having half or less! Warrior Skald traits (red) equipped it progressed just fine.


Story behind it and some testing at level 56, so 6 trait slots available:

Yesterday i went into the Graind Stair with a group, traited for healing (4 blue, 2 yellow). Today i saw that the deed had progressed 40 points. I still was traited for healing and used Anthem of War via Cry of the Chorus. I got one more point.
Then i retraited for questing (4 red, 2 yellow), used Anthem of War via Cry of the Chorus, no progress in the deed.

After that i went back to heal traits (4 blue/2 yellow) and began to exchange the blue ones for red ones on a one by one basis. The deed progressed until i had 4 red traits equipped again. I did some additional testing with different traits but came to the same result: every time i went to more than 50% red traits, the deed stopped progressing.

Haven't tested it with smaller numbers like 2/2 2/1 and such, and unfortunately finished the deed befor getting to level 57 (7th class trait slot).

okay, that would make sense. As for GA I had all "healer" traits and respecced to solo/dps after it. Kinda blows that I now have to quest 6 days with healer traits, but I want to finish the deed.

Maybe the hotfix will fix it. I have not heard from other classes they have to pick certain traits to progress in a class deed.

The servers are still down, so I can't test this, but based on A.Keller's observations, I would suspect the problem is that with the 4-trait bonus that makes Anthem of the War last until combat ends, it changes the way the server processes this Anthem which messes with the deed. If you only have 3 (or less) Warrior Skald traits, you should be fine.

There was an issue with the permanent version of the Anthem of War not triggering the advances of the deed. This should be fixed before Update 5.

anyway, the work around works. I have been tested it for 2 days now. Only 2 Warrior-Skald traits and you will be fine.
