    Invisible NPC

I am currently doing the quest chain "Silent Riders". I need to talk to Thurbald but I cannot see him!

    Anyone help please?

Try the suggestion in the known problem list:

I had the same problem with Ilar in Bonevales. I tried following the suggestion on the known issues list but it didnt work, so ended up just cancelling the quest as it bothered me so much. As I was leaving the area a mob dropped the item again to start the quest and this time he was visible. So maybe cancelling and then picking it up again could be the trick.

With Ilar you have to find him first in another quest, after that he becomes visible. It makes more sense in story but I agree that technically it is confusing.

Yes that does make sense LoL. I was wondering about that when I saw him in an instance and thought maybe that was it, but wasn't sure.

The issue is that you ran the instance Taking a Stand with someone who had progressed that far, but hadn't actually gotten to that point yourself. There is a bug that is causing his phasing state to change for you as well, which it shouldn't until you complete the wrapper quest for Taking a Stand (at which point Thurbald, Elfrith, and Cuthric are dead.)

This is being fixed in the next patch. (Thurbald and his companions should automatically reappear for you at that point.)

Do we have any idea when the patch will be carried out? It seems to have affected a fair number of people and in effect the quest line closes at that point (you can complete the epic only)

I'm one of those moved across from Codemasters and there used to be a lot of complaints about the European Servers taking a few weeks to get new stuff... well those bug-fix delays are looking pretty sweet at the moment.

In the meantime, is it safe to skip the rest of this quest line and head down to Forthrand (sp?) and start questing or will that mess things up with the Rohirrim Scout-camp quests once Silent Riders is fixed?

the whole silent riders quest bugged for me to while leveling in the first week. Made a bug report about it at the time.

As i didn't wanted to wait around i had to skip half of Gravenwood. Which is the only deed i have left to do to complete the bigger deed,

    Cannot find Leofward

I have tried this instance 3 times and every time it starts out clear then within a few seconds gets extremely foggy and I cannot find Leofward anywhere to start get to the next step - can anyone show me where exactly on the map he is or what to do to fix this? The suggested link above did nothing for me as my client is NOT crashing and I have no idea what disabling said links would mean or consist of - any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Jim

Seems the 4th time is the charm - I got in and saw him - then proceeded to get my buttocks handed to me.... will have to try again when I am stronger I suppose
