    Next class mount

Any news on when we can expect the next class mount, and which class it will be? I have been biting my nails trying not to ask, but it's halfway January now and I really want to know! If it's not the Loremaster or Minstrel horse at least I know I will have to bite my nails a little longer...

    It's the RK mount.

I can also guarantee you that Burglars will get it last.

Post your pics when you win! That's how we usually work the win-it-before-you-can-buy-it lotteries. That way the first to win it are the first to see it and get some bragging rights, too.

    A Rune Keeper Mount!

I assume, that by way of breed looks, it will have to resemble an Epic Carthusian?

Or should I draw some other Equine Conclusion?

Aw, I was hoping it would be truly epic.

You know, with blue lightning flashing from its hooves as it ran.

    Re: Next class mount

It looks like the order in which the class mounts are released is: medium armour -> heavy armour -> light armour. So next up in February would be either warden or burglar, in March either champion or captain, and I will have to wait all the way until April for either Loremaster or Minstrel.
    I'm not happy.

I would have lain good odds for the minstrel.

1st was the Hunter -- iconic dps
2nd was tags Guardian -- iconic tank
I surly thought the iconic healer would be 3rd

And I really thought the upstart newcomer classes would be last! :P

Hmph, I really wonder who got this idea of introducing ugly uber-sized saddles on horses all of a sudden.

What was wrong with the nice saddle type on eg. Mathom, Eglain or Algraig horses? This RK steed saddle rather looks like a giant goat saddle...

And speaking of the equipment packed on the RK horse - any idea how to keep your horse from bolting all the time with all this stuff bumping onto his very rear back and tail?

These class steeds all dont make me get excited so far...

same with cappy! seeing as horses are one of the easiest things to make from a dev/designer point of view, i'm surprised they are not being produced quicker.

I thought Turbine wanted to make money but obviously they don't as they stopped releasing classmounts. I don't want to wait a year for my Champion classmount so please move it up abit if you don't mind.

Any news on the class mounts? Has Turbine stopped breeding them or does their training take up a bit more time than anticipated?
Many of us have been waiting for their class mount since the first one was released in the fall of 2011. Would be nice to know if we are waiting in vain or if there's still a glimmer of hope for us cowboys and girls.

    Re: Next class mount

Thank you for releasing the next classmount! I must admit that I am slightly disappointed though. I understand they cannot all be equally attractive, and that tastes differ.

The steed of the Hunter was somehow an awesome steed, it was the first, but still stands out as the best off all class mounts so far. The Runekeeper was a very nice steed as well. The Guardian is a nice steed but it doesn't really have that "heavy armoured" feel to it, which I would expect for a Guardian.

I cannot say the Steed of the Champion is horrible, because it definitely is not, it's a nice design, but for a class horse that should stand out, it's a bit underwhelming. The armour on neck and back is brown, if it would have been made more silvery or iron, it would look more like armour. Now it looks like decoloured decoration. The scarlett horse tack is not a Champ's colour either. I was hoping for blues. All in all, browns & reds = country style. Not classy but homely.
Please understand that my criticisms are based on personal taste. Other players may well differ in their opinions. I just don't believe this steed will sell as well as the Hunters'.

My champ is sticking to his steed of Minas Ithil for the time being, but my hopes are still up for my Loremaster, Minstrel and Burglar. I'm still looking forward to those!

All the other class mounts i'm sure will be nice and everything but i'll be waiting for the warden mount.

Any chance the warden mount could be a gambit that we'd have to perform with battle preperations? :P (Not a real question just one of those fake ones)

    Re: Next class mount

On the topic of class-mounts, would it be possible to place the class-mounts for sale in the LotRO Store? I was a free player when the hunter-class-mount came out and wass no where near able to buy it, as a VIP I would like to do so. And also, I'd like to know what a mount looks like before I buy it. Fore example, I had been contemplating buying the steed of the Eglain but I didn't know what I was buying.
