Some people on my server got chickens to Isengard, past the Trolls and to the very doorstep of Orthanc. They even have screenshots somewhere on server forums...
What a journey! Quite an accomplishment!
I guess the chance of running a chicken to Isengard without getting his feathers fricasseed is about the same as two "curly-tops" taking the long road to Doom.
Hmmm ... I'll be packin' my chicken's bags this weekend. This is the way to see Middle-Earth!![]()

I made the chicken run once; I survived because my husband brought his main along so I didn't have to fight. Otherwise I would never have made it out of the Shire. But then, I didn't do the run in order to brag, "I made the chicken run and lived to tell the tale because I AM SO POWERFUL!" I did it to talk to the animals along the way, from the fox who didn't know why four hobbits were sleeping out in the wood, to Roheryn in Rivendell, who is too important to hang out with a mere chicken.

thanks for all the great comment. Also grats to that chicken who got to isengard! Did you guys had any escort to get all the way to the isengard area.
Turbine should give more love to chicken play, theres a lot of fun to get from the session play but i feel like its not used enough for festivals. I know a while back there was chicken play in the Moors for some festivals that only lasted a few hours, that was funny.
We need more chicken skin, more skills, chicken skirmishes (i.e. The attack against the Masked Badger) MORE STUFF!!!!
Lets unite all the chicken lovers for more chicken love!!!!!

Haha nice!! My kin once tried to take lowbie hobbits to Isengard. One died in Enedwaith and the other in Gravenwood.
Good job on the run!
Our group made it to the tower using escorts. Still lost a couple (darn stealthed Dunlanders)

That did make me laugh a bit! I never tried chicken play in LOTRO, but it looks like a lot of fun. I need to do the quests to enable it still, I think.
