Actually, LoTRO Herald shows all servers are up, we just can't log in.

Unless you are new to LOTRO and Turbine, you should know their time estimates for maintenance are like the RoR expansion - unreliable.

from what I can tell most of the servers came up about 45 minutes ago. Except for the authorization server.

OT: Yup, getting the 'Retry 1 of 2' thing you usually get when the servers are close to being reopened. Guess I won't be able to play LOTRO for a bit longer.

What are Turbine playing at, I demand compensation as they said I could play at 3pm GMT and this time has come and come and yet I am unable to log in. By my calculation they own me 0.5p for being 20 minutes late getting the servers up

Actually, I have seen this many times where players whine about the estimate being too high and that they missed valuable playing time because if they had known the servers would be up sooner, they'd have started playing sooner.

I'm getting the retry 2 of 2 thing as well. When i hit the details tab on the popup it referred to a web error, and at the end something about endaccount authorization. VIP/lifer type account, anyone else getting this error?

Usually maintenance finishes early. Im surprised they are still down, maybe they snuck in a fix or 2000...ya know dailies, mounted combat, driaglitch...

I still can't login either. However, I'm curious about the statement above. What happened? Maybe someone can tell us a story about it to help pass the time until the game is back online.
