I had always been skeptic about staff of any game company actually reading the threads, and I have come across several threads you have actually posted within, and confirmed that Turbine, or at least, you are reading the threads and I find that to be very encouraging.

So I started this thread to publicly thank you for your hard work, and maybe Turbine will give you a pay raise for a new set of glasses, for you must read hundreds it not thousands of posts a day!

Responses like yours pop up every single time an employee of Turbine is thanked. When your waiter at a restaurant refills your drink, do you thank them or is that "just their job", too? It's not an attention seeking post. It's an encouraging post. It's a "hey, we think you're doing a great job! keep it up!" post. It's a nice gesture.

You thank someone for doing an exceptional job or going above and beyond their job. Otherwise you're just thanking them for doing what they're supposed to do (which, in this case, I don't think has even been met).

Thank you for the post, OP, it is very much appreciated. It's posts like these that keep us going, and are the very reasons why we love doing our jobs so much.

However, to avoid attracting flame bait, I'm going to have close this thread. Thank you all for your opinions.
