Superior crafting area in revamped Bree?

I looked around Bree and noticed all the crafting stations are still not Superior. Well, I think I saw a Superior workbench somewhere. Am I just missing it or is there no Superior crafting area? I was kinda bummed, I was hoping for a crafting area like 21st Hall because I still like Bree as my place of doing errands.

You are correct that they do not (last I checked) say superior. They are, however, superior. I was crafting high tier stuff in there just a few hours ago (all the way up to Eastemnet fire oils on my scholar). The names are confused, but they really are superior.

Oh that's good news! I was bummed because I thought I would have to keep going to 21st Hall or Galtrev or someplace in the sticks. Thanks for answering!

    Thanks!

I didn't know this but I think it is a great idea. Do you know if it is intentional or a bug?

Even the ones in the crafting hall work as superior. I am wonding if this is just a bug in the new bree or what. Nothing actully says superior but when you walk up to them the icons up pop under you name for both superior and regular. They do say superior on the map though.

You can say that again! I was getting rather tired of leaving my lowbie toons parked at places like Michel Delving and Thorin's. Now they can all be in one central location (unless, Eru forbid, I have to trot out to fetch some guild recipes >.<).

Are you sure? The regular vendors that stand near their areas have never sold the complete collection of ingredients (whether superior or not). But Bonnie Thatcher (I think that's the NPC's name) wanders the whole chamber. She's always been there and I'm pretty sure I saw Eastemnet ingredients in her vendor list when I was crafting the other day. In fact, I'm AM sure, not just pretty sure. I was, as I mentioned, crafting Eastemnet fire oils for a Hunter kinmate. The recipe for those requires Eastemnet-tier bottles, and Bonnie had them for me. I think I saw the Eastemnet coal in her bags as well.

I'm pretty sure Suppliers sell everything (unless they changed it, or maybe Suppliers never sold Tier 7-8 stuff and I just never noticed).

I'd be concerned that it was not Turbine's intention to make the facilities superior in Bree and that it will be undone next update.

Scarycrow posted in beta forums that it was intentional. Superior crafting is here to stay in Bree.
I'll see if I can drag up the post...

Turbine must've missed renaming the crafting stations in all the 500,000 newly added words in the game. Oh well, at least they work.

See below for info on Guilds in Bree. Sounds like Scary looked into it, but didn't have time. Maybe for U10.

1.) Give players effective craft guild content in Bree.
2.) By creating unique spaces for each craft guild I help create more interior spaces within Bree which players are always asking for
3.) New spaces can be strategically placed throughout the city to allow for convenience but help spread out the population (so you don't have a Galtrev lag issue) where ALL players live in one single landblock.

    oooh... *drools*

Scary, you'd have a crafting fan for life! ^_^ Totally /sign that! Having more accessible locations within Bree (especially for those locations contained the guilds, scattered around the town) would be uber awesome!

/Cheer for the new additions. Especially the vaultkeeper in the AH in S Bree, along with the one in the crafting area.

This might be kind of a large ask for a small payout, but along with the crafting guilds being moved to Bree, can we get superior facilities in Thorin's Hall, Michael Delving, and Rivendell?

I totally dig that you're trying to make Bree a viable hometown hangout again, and I don't disagree with the approach. At the same time, I wouldn't love the idea of TH (or Michael Delving, or Rivendell) becoming even more of a ghost town because of it. Personally, I kind of like the idea of having to go back to the dwarven homeland to increase my metalsmithing prowess.

Again, totally on board with making Bree a one-stop shop for the people who want it....it would just be nice to have a choice of which "capital" we choose to hang out in.
The forums are not an accurate representation of the thoughts and feelings of the whole player base. Those who like a particular feature are in the game enjoying that feature. Those who don't like it log out to mention it on the forums. It is a relevant but biased source of feedback, and any claims of community desire should take this fact into account.

Thorin's Hall has a superior forge. Michel Delving has a superior oven in the craft fair and a superior study in the Mathom House. Elrond's library has a superior study and the rep gated area of Rivendell has a superior forge, if I am remembering correctly. Esteldin has a superior workbench. What I can't remember is if there are superior farm fields in the new Bree, though I do know that the area around the AH/South Bree gate stable are all superior facilities even if they're not labeled as such. I wouldn't mind each area having a full set of superior crafting facilities, though.

I thought a dev mentioned that the intent was to make all craft faculties superior, eventually.

I could be making that up though.

In addition to the Superior Forge, Thorin's Hall has Superior Workbenches in the Blue Stone Garrison, rep-gated by the Dwarves of Thorin's Hall, so the only Superior Crafting facilities lacking at Thorin's (once you have the minimum rep) were a Superior Study and Oven. Until the new Bree revision (thanks, Scarycrow!), IMO Thorin's was the best place to craft.

If I am not mistaken, the Thorin's Hall Greenhouse farm fields are not superior. I probably am mistaken though. I will have to check the next time I have a crop-grower logged in.

I'm bringing an alt up through the middle 30s now in Evendim and appreciating the Bree facilities more than ever. It wasn't as bad for my main, a hunter forester, due to the no-cooldown travel skills hunters have. But the mid-30s is an awkward time in crafting: you're harvesting things that need superior facilities, but the crafting facilities in the hubs you're visiting don't yet have superior workbenches. Up to the mid 20s, and from the mid 50s on, you're seeing the facilities you need in the places you are, but in the 30s and 40s you can't craft where you quest. At least Bree, which is near my home and kinship travel skills, helps fill the gap without consuming cooldowns I can't spare.
