We don't want pie, we want our level specific lotteries! Please? Twice a week devolved to once a week, and now it's Monday, the day we usually can sign up for the Thursday drawings and nothing.

P.S. Also, my level 80 guard would like to get in on the 80-85 lottery as he is not level 76, no matter what my.lotro.com thinks...

I've noticed a high correlation between my toons not getting updated on the community site and new lotteries not being offered. I initially thought that this may just be my toons falling into a black hole, but it appears that others are enjoying the same hiccups.

When I notice my toons are not getting updated I look for and find threads here where others are complaining about the same sort of thing. The dates never match up perfectly, such that everyone's toons appear to update then fail to update on differing dates. But when I notice week-long outages in the community site's character updates I also notice that the regular bi-weekly lotteries get interrupted.

I thought they may be technically related, until last weekend's torrent of PIE! (for which I am grateful - everyone loves pie). Now I think that they may be related logically and are being manually maintained.

It may be that Sapience is deliberately withholding lotteries because the system is under some unknown stress. Perhaps running lotteries exacerbates the toon updating problem. Perhaps I am feverish, who knows.

beta or not, if you cant keep things running on a normal regular schedule then some one else should be takeing their place....

or atleast leave a note letting others know when things will be back in business
