Red face Returning to lotro. How I missed it! :)

    Hello All!

I have just returned to the game after several years of absence (5 years precisely). Finally!

Just want to say that the community is still very good when compared with other games that I have play in meanwhile. That is what make the difference.

Thank you all and enjoy the game

    Cheers,

    Py

    Welcome back!

Yeah, I keep thinking I'm tired of LOTRO until I try another MMO and I keep coming back here.

It does have it faults, and they are many, but I love this game.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"

I have gotten burnt out on LOTRO a couple times (usually if I play more than 8 hours a day, every day), so I have taken a couple breaks and tried other games. I have not found another game that is nearly as good as LOTRO. I keep trying to compare other games to LOTRO, and while some have features that I do love, and wish that LOTRO could implement (but for various reasons, will never be able to), I still LOVE LOTRO more than any other MMORPG I have ever played.

As a recent returner myself, I agree with everyone here. Welcome back first of all and I too have gotten tired of the game, mostly after a huge Alt Grind Fest (right before RoR I leveled 4 alts to 75 in preparation to the xpac and subsequently got burned out when it released), and "move on to greener pastures" only to find the grass is not greener at all. But more of the same old same old. What they all lack is Middle Earth and of course a great community.
