So now they're selling the same game for the same price of $59.99 WITHOUT the Steed? Why would I want to pay that amount and not get the horse? Is there any other way to get it? Will it maybe eventually be sold at Lalia's or in the Lotro Store? I was short of cash earlier and had to make som priorities. Both Rise of Isengard and Riders of Rohan still have their pre-purchase mounts available to buy, and I thought it would be available for Helm's Deep as well. And as a collector of fine breeds I'm very disappointed I won't be able to get the Helm's Deep one. Don't care about the +10 quests in log, the crystal, titles or anything. But the horse? Yes, please. That's a big selling point for me.

Unfortunately, the Steed of the Hammerhand was exclusive to the Helm's Deep pre-purchase program.

I wouldn't worry too much about the Steed of the Hammerhand. It only has 62% run speed and 200 moral. For an exclusive pre-purchase item I admit I am very disappointed. It does look cool but I think I'll just have to stick with my treasure horse. For something I dug out out of the dirt for free it's stats are a whole lot better.

The OP collects horses, stats don't matter.

Though, I have to say...being mad at them for doing what they said they would do is a bit far fetched. The horse has been labeled very clearly as an exclusive item for pre-orders. It's not turbine's fault that you "thought" they would make it available when they very clearly stated they would not.

not to mention your still getting a lot for 59.99 since star-lit crystals for one character is normal 10 dollars in the LOTRO store and with the premium u get one for every character

Yes, but it was a selling point for the pre-order, not the release version. It was clearly advertised as a pre-order bonus. Not sure what else there is to say about that.

They're not selling the package minus the horse for the same price - the horse wasn't part of the "package" as such. The horse was a special gift incentive to buy before you try. If you wanted to wait, you don't get the gift.

Maybe I oversaw some text saying it would disappear after pre-purchase, but I thought it might be available since both Rise of Isengard and Riders of Rohan have their cosmetic steeds on offer still, and so I decided to wait.

I'm just curious - why wait a week and take a chance on missing out if you are such a keen collector? I am not wanting to criticise or anything, I really am just curious.
