- Enhanced Lotro Server Status Feature
- Added Big Battles Information
- Added More Crafting Information , Including Crafting Tiers ( You can now check which nodes are provided in what location of middle earth )
- Enhanced all Maps
- Increased loading speed for Lotro Forums
- Updated Traits Information
- Added Lotro Music ( You can now enjoy the great artwork from right off your phone instead of just in the game . )

Is there a way to use this on a PC?

I assume "apps" are a mobile only thing. I don't have a smartphone or Ipad, but the features seem rather interesting.

That's not strictly true, for that is part of why Windows 8 changed the base interface. You can do apps (Metro style, which have similarities to the mobile ones) for PCs. I would think that Linux would likewise have the same kind of functionality. Unfortunately for the Windows world, the Metro ones would not work on older versions out-of-the box.

I just downloaded and updated, but it still says 1.0 in the About section of the app.

iTunes shows version 1.4.010210 and a modified date of 12/11/13 with a release date of 11/6/13

Lol yes i am forgetting to update the 1.0 box i am sorry i noticed it also . i will fix it in the next update. And regarding the "iTunes shows version 1.4.010210" This is a False number , i have had to go back and forth with updates between me and apple just to release 1.2 .

Any plans for Android?

Yes there are plans for Android . I will be working harder on this app next year. In around 6 months from now you can start looking for one . Plans for other operating systems other than iPhone, iPad , and Android are currently not set.

hmm. well, seeing as how i won't be picking up an iDevice any time soon, it looks like us android users are kind of stuck for now. looks like a good app. nicely done.
