I happened upon these two hobbit NPCs a long time ago but had forgotten about them until I started a new character recently
I wonder if they ever did go to Bree?

Two young hobbits in Scary, The Shire:

Hobbit Lass says, ''This is boring.''
Hobbit Lad says, ''We could go see Belgo in Brockenborings.''
Hobbit Lass says, ''He'll just want to race along the stone walls again. That's dull.''
Hobbit Lad says, ''I thought it was pretty fun.''
Hobbit Lass says, ''This is boring.''
Hobbit Lad says, ''We could see if Reginard is in town. His stories are always good.''
Hobbit Lass says, ''Stories! Is that how we're supposed to spend our tweens?''
Hobbit Lad says, ''They're good stories, sometimes.''
Hobbit Lass says, ''Have you ever been to Bree, Bingo?''
Hobbit Lad says, ''No.''
Hobbit Lass says, ''We should go! It'll be an Adventure!''
Hobbit Lad says, ''Are you sure you wouldn't rather go see Belgo?''
Hobbit Lass says, ''I shan't talk to you anymore if we don't go on an Adventure.''
Hobbit Lad says, ''Er...okay...yes! We'll go to Bree!''
Hobbit Lad says, ''Do we need any supplies?''
Hobbit Lass says, ''We'll find food in the wild! And treasure too, I'd imagine!''
Hobbit Lad says, ''I hope there's good food in Bree.''
Hobbit Lass says, ''Let's go, Bingo! Let's start our Adventure!''

I wish npcs in lotro would wander around a bit more. It would be awesome to see them in bree.

Two young hobbits in Scary, The Shire...

A blast from the past -- I forgot about these two! I remember coming in over the weekend and setting up this conversation (and a couple other ones throughout the Shire) sometime during the lead-up to launch. I didn't remember that his name was Bingo.

I remember ... back in the day ... thinking that Hobbits as a whole are far more adventurous than we had been led to believe. Bilbo and Frodo did not seem the outliers many thought them to be. In addition to the Scary pair, there is the Hobbit on an "adventure" by paddling "all the way" from Frogmorton. And the Hobbit lass near Waymeet bemoaning her father's injunction against her spending time with that bard ... which is an adventure unto itself.

Now that 1 is a truly adventurous Bingo hobbit! He didn't keep taking it back over & over as the new Bingo. ...& he didn't shy with the hobbit lass. But of course have to thanks Her determination, she sound very convincing.
