I received an email about the 100 TP reward for taking part in the stress test. It points me to the website: https://myaccount.turbine.com. When I click the link I get 404 - file or directory not found.
Is this just me?

"Out of the Great Sea to Middle-earth I am come. In this place will I abide, and my heirs, unto the ending of the world."
Interestingly the link is pointing to parature, not to Turbine account management.
umm dont think test server done its job with all this bugs and broken stuff around so why reward it?
The link in the mail is pointing to a wrong URL, but if you go to https://myaccount.turbine.com manually and enter the code the points are granted.

Have you tried to clear your DNS cache ?
(ipconfig /flushdns)
For me is not a DNS thing, the link in the mail is pointing to: https://d12.parature.com/ics/km/myaccount.turbine.com
Turbine is probably using a Parature software for to manage the e-mails (Parature is a Customer Software Service seller http://www.parature.com/).

Also note that you'll have to input the point coupon by clicking the small Add game time or points link in the black LOTRO box, not in the rather obvious-looking product key activation box.
Yea we saw this after the fact, though it had not happened before so we are not sure why it occurred this time. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I somewhat foresee that the link may be bugged, because this might be the 1st time that happen to LOTRO but not to many other emails of other website. So i just copied the TP code & pasted it on the correct space from the correct turbines URL that i keep saved on my favorites & it worked wonders. I didn't even noticed that the email link was actually bugged.![]()
I got only 1/6; Probably just one per IP
Please ignore my ridiculous running animation.
The link broke for me because of my security settings - it's a valid link for another domain trying to forward into a known trusted domain . . . bad idea all around from a paranoid mindset like myself.
Also: 3 out of 4 expected emails with the TP award received. One missing in action. Not trying to be greedy, just saying the process is leaving some people out.

I've received 3/4.
(Not a big deal at all but that baby account wouldn't turn down the gift if it received it)
PS: Second try with no signature. Might be the title...
Well, I don't know then. After several tries and server disconnections, I logged the 6 accounts and created 6 characters (I had to play the intro in three or four of them) and leveled to 100 in the tavern before a server message asked to disconnect to allow more people to participate.
Please ignore my ridiculous running animation.
Did anyone receive an e-mail who tried repeatedly to get into the world, but couldn't queue?
Obviously, those users also generated information and stressed a server - just not BR itself ...![]()
I had no TP at all. Tried and failed to log with more than one account. I don't think the attempts to log on were monitored. Given the aftermath where it was never designed to be for more than 3000 gamers I feel perhaps it might have been handled differently. Could have let the test run longer while booting and blocking those who had already been allowed to contribute. Or something. Anything. Whenever the winner of the lifetime account is announced, many users trying to log into the test will inevitably be bitter this way, which is hardly optimal. Even the random 100 tp bonus feels like a slap.
Testers said after that it went on for about two hours but that was not the window of opportunity to log in. That was just gamers opting to stay when asked to please log off. If I have the approximate times right, it was open for logon perhaps 45 minutes.
Rewards are limited to one per account and/or email
We apologize for the difficulties in this last test including the delay in the rewards and this incorrect link.
However there will be another opportunity this weekend 12-2PM EST to win the same prizes. We have beefed up the hardware so we should not see the same login limitations, should be able to handle upwards of 4300 players at once and have awards out in under a week with a correct link to claim prizes.
Official announcement will be out later today with details.
I hope that many of you will join us again!

YEAH Thanks for the heads up
Great news, thanks Vyv! FWIW my daughter and I both logged our accounts for the 1st stress test and successfully received the 100TP email codes. Curious: any word on whether the 1k, 10k, and Lifetime prizes for the 1st test have been awarded yet? I haven't received an additional email and since the chances are so slim I assume I didn't win, but hope springs eternalWould be nice to know if those have been awarded yet.
