When will the expansion be available in the Marketplace?

So, I've been following the issues with pricing and packaging of the preorders.

Like many people, I really, really want to get into Mordor ASAP. I'm sold on that.

I am not sold on the PreOrder bundles. I don't want an instant levelling thing at all. I am not excited about the High Elf race. Cosmetics are nice, but one gets tired of them quickly.

So....

How soon after launch can we buy the Mordor expansion less all the addons?

OP, If you're asking about a way to use money to buy just the expansion content without anything else, we haven't heard about that yet. All they said is that the three bundles available now will also be available after Mordor launches.

Might have. Not sure. Regardless, as you've said, not details, other than the LP version will be the sane as the base version, except, without the Aria of the Valar added to it, which is basically what the OP is wanting. The Expansion sans the extra junk.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering. And I had heard that it would not be offered in the LoTRO store for LP for 6 months. I just thought you might be able to buy it for good old fashioned currency sooner than that. Your post makes me think that the bells and whistles won't be decoupled for a while and I should just bite the bullet and buy the base edition. I think Mordor alone will be worth the cash. I just really don't want that auto levelling thing and I have no idea if I can sell it in game or otherwise not waste it.

The three bundles are the bundles we intend to have remain in the LOTRO Market after Mordor launches.

I think it's pretty clear that the OP intended to ask about the LotRO Store, not the "Marketplace", which isn't a real thing.

The Market is the website where you pay cash for things, the Store is the in-game site where you pay LP for things. There is no "Marketplace". The preorder bundles will remain on the Market after launch. I don't think it's been confirmed if aspects of those bundles will be in the Store after launch, except the High-elf, which will NOT be in the Store until U22.
