is there any chance these could be put on the calendar, or announced on the forums, or highlighted in-game the way that silly chicken event is whenever it is brought back.

I am sure many people that would have logged in for it did not because they had no idea it was running, and many people that did log in never noticed the small icon added to their buff icons showing double experience.

I appreciate the events even if they are done on a stealth basis but I am not sure this is the ideal way to manage them.

Yes, it should have been on the calendar, but it looks like a document versioning error caused it to slip by me. I will be looking to see if there are other bonuses I'm missing as well.

I missed it too.... I had originally planned to level my Loremaster, but thought I would push that into the week with evening play and do some other things instead.... I could have played however, and I did play some.... but I didn't notice that there was a VIP weekend until Sunday late night!! - and it ended at midnight.... so I quickly did as much quests as I could but didn't get that much exp from the event.

I did check the announcement of events last week, and yeah.... if I would have known, I may have shifted my play from Civilization VI to Lotro!

I always try to do some marathon craft leveling during the extra craft xp weekends. I hate that I missed out on all but the tail end of this round. Does anyone know when the next one will be? It would be wonderful if these bonus weekends were announced in the client launch for a full week preceding. I think sometimes they're announced there as they start, but not always, and not enough beforehand.

On another note: I really wish the bonus xp also applied to Farming, Prospecting, and Forestry, at least the production part even if not the gathering part.

I just recently returned to the game about a week or so ago and had no idea we had a bonus weekend here. I would have made more of an effort to get in some game time if I had.

I checked into the schedule of events yesterday and everything listed in the Events Schedule remains accurate. We have a gap in November to deal with, and discussions are underway on those bonuses. I will add them once they are finalized. So far it's looking like an XP weekend and a return of the Treasure Hunt (since some folks here have been requesting it.)
