    Loadbalancer issues?

The website, and in particular the forums seem to always give me issues.... no matter what computer or internet connection I use. I have it at home on my PC, I have it at work on my laptop using our work internet connection.... When logging in I often get this screenshotted message, and I get it again when I post a reply. Often I have to back out and refresh, and then it complains about the post being a duplicate. So obviously the post is posted, but I get errors nonetheless.

I suspect there is a configuration issue on the load balancer.... are you using an F5 load balancer?

Ever since the move to the new datacenter there have been problems like this cropping up....Maybe its time to hire a new sysadmin.

BTW, SSG run on BST; some people think it means British Summer Time, but all engineers and craftsmen will tell you it means British SOME Time; ie "It will be ready Thursday" (note, he didnt say WHICH Thursday)

The ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE has indeed been a standard feature since the server move, especially just after logging in. Often it fixes itself after a second or two, but if it doesn't and you've just posted you might be in a pickle. Do you use Chrome by chance? It seems to be a bit more strict on response times than others. Most mentioned remedy is clearing the browser cache, but I can't say that works for sure.

We did refresh some servers and memcaches for LOTRO.com late this afternoon, which should resolve these issues.

I had a good session this morning, except for a few minutes of really strange stop-start around 10:40 GMT; the whole game seemed to freeze, and not just my character - which is what happens with server connection issues; so not really sure what was going on.

I get that a lot on chrome when I'm at work. But I also get it on IE when I'm home but not as often. Sometimes the forum will come up but the place at the top where you sign in is not there.

It hasn't resolved all issues. This was not just a forum issue. That was probably just the tip of the iceberg. Yes the forums are a bit faster now but still getting stuck sometimes. Also it has not solved the bigger issue with people who got IP blocked over the weekend when all these issues was going on. No one even knows how many that can't even accesss forums or the game atm as their IP Adresses are are blocked from accessing either. Yes when blocked You can not even load the game, not get past the "Installing Pre Reqs". You can not access the web-site at all and report it even.
