The problem with the trait reset is that no notification icon appears in your Alert UI panel to tell you

I know there is another huge thread about this but no one has addressed this. I asked about it in-game and someone said "You'll get it if you relog". Oh that's helpful. /sarc

The point is, in the past we have been notified upon FIRST log-in with each character that traits have been reset. Why was that not done this time? I think that is what has contributed to the confusion and outrage among some in the community.

Do you not notice when you are missing 1/3 of your skills?

Yes I did, immediately after I started a fight

I got notifications on all of my toons.
First logon only, when you ignore them they don't reappear.

Yes, which led me to the giant thread about it on the forums. But I didn't see anyone making the point about them NOT giving the notification on the Alert UI Panel.

I never got one on any of my characters. I only noticed something was amiss when my hotbars looked half-empty. After that first log in with that character, I specifically looked for the alert on my other character log ins and never got a single one.

Also, in the past, if a character's traits get reset and I ignore the notification and don't reset the traits (because I don't have the patience at that moment or whatever), the notification remains until I act on it (reset my traits). So no matter how many times I log in with that character, I will see the notification until I do something about it.

I knew about the reset from the forums before logging in on patch day, but I certainly didn't get an in-game alert.

I believe that has been my only login since the reset, so I can't speak to behavior on subsequent logins.

I've logged in a few characters since the reset and none have had an alert.

I didn't. Not until I went into combat for the first time on the landscape. It's a minor annoyance, but equally, it should be a trivial fix you would think.

Yes, we agree that the feedback needs to be better on this. Hopefully this is something we can do in the future.
