Sales say they run from now through September 6th. Surely some mistake.

Bullroarer's Challenge is easy. The central one. The north and south ones... are not.

I spent hours. And hours. Trying to beat them. The south one was pretty rough. But the north one, with dozens of tiny posts to land on, was my rare elite arch-nemesis. As I jumped from post to post, inevitably a little bit of hitching or lag would make me miss. I refused to disable drunken effects to make it easier. (One day a passing RK cast Do Not Fall on me in an amusing attempt to help. It didn't work.)

Occasionally I would watch while others gave it a few tries and failed. Then I actually saw someone beat it after a few minutes of trying. I was amazed, glad for them, but feeling pretty frustrated having spent another hour or two beating my head against it. I wearily lined up for my umpteenth attempt, and... I beat it too! Right after that other guy. Fist pumps ensued, as well as a roar of triumph that still echoes over the Greenfields to this day.

It felt great. But I am NEVER running it again.

I doubt I'll ever complete the bullroarer's challenge. The middle section is easy, the southern one is definitely doable, but the northern part? I'd prefer to keep my sanity

Only the middle one! The north and south challenges are apparently beyond me...

Yes, on one character. So very long ago. NEVER AGAIN. It was so frustrating. I wanted to take a golf club upside a hobbit's head by the time I was done is all I'm saying.

Middle is fine by me... I, like A.A. Milne, like the middle just fine...

    Halfway down the stairs
    is a stair
    where i sit.
    there isn't any
    other stair
    quite like
    it.
    i'm not at the bottom,
    i'm not at the top;
    so this is the stair
    where
    I always
    stop.

    Halfway up the stairs
    Isn't up
    And it isn't down.
    It isn't in the nursery,
    It isn't in town.
And all sorts of funny thoughts
    Run round my head.
    It isn't really
    Anywhere!
    It's somewhere else
    Instead!

Yes, I did! From the second try.

Yes! It was quite easy! Well... that's how I remember it. But I bet I was swearing up a storm at the time...

The center only...and I had to disable drunk effects to do it. Does anyone else think short hobbit legs make it harder? And to those who did North and South, well, AMAZELING. I raise my mug of bullroarer's brew to you.

Once I thought the north one and the south one are as easy as the middle one, so I skipped them... Later I found they are actually very difficult, so I continued to skip them... But now this thread makes me want to try them again. Thank you.

This post simply has to win. Well done Vilan.

I'd scale the Eaworth beacon a hundred times with my eyes closed before attempting North and South fences whilst thoroughly sauced (and as stated elsewhere--what's the point of trying sober?)

    Nooope

I've done the middle, with some difficulty on non-elven characters, but after a couple sober attempts at north and south I decided not to even attempt them while drunk. Hats off to those agile enough to succeed!

I've tried it several years ago with my Hobbit, Annathea,,, I kept falling off!
