    Virtue XP on Legendary Server

Can anyone tell me how to get Virtue XP on the Legendary Server?
I have done ALL my deeds prior to Update 24 and every Virtue except Wit is now overcapped.
But HOW can I level up WIT?? I have NO deeds left.
The next festival is on 20th June. So I cant do anything for the next 16 days.
And when the Festival is live, i have to grind it all the time to get XP and level Wit.
I dont see another option got get Virtue XP on this Server.
NO featured Challenges are available on the Legendary Servers.
NO endgame repeatable Quests, which give Virtue XP, are available on the Legendary Server.
Am I getting punished for doing all my deeds prior to U24?
Am I not seeing something that the devs saw?

"If the basic idea for virtues now is that we grind endgame quests for VXP rather than, or on top of, deeding, then we really should be getting *some* (and not necessarily a lot, maybe like 100) VXP from every repeatable quest that was ever an endgame quest, like resource dungeons, Epic Battles, and the Minas Tirith dailies everyone has to do for scrolls, maybe even some (even less, maybe like 10) for things like tasks, just so we feel like we're making some headway, even if we're not at level cap, and for the sake of consistency if no other reason.

And by the way folks on legendary servers are probably going to *need* something like this to make up the difference between available deed VXP and what they need to max out virtues at their level, since festivals are probably not what they're on LS to do, and probably is insufficient given the rate of level cap raises on LS anyway."

-a brief summary of stuff some guy said on the Bullroarer forum.

Once Mirkwood unlocks on legendary servers, and as long as the level cap is 65, you will be able to earn 4000 virtue xp per week from the legendary server weekly wrapper quests (Legendary Mirkwood: Breaking the Dark Sorcery & Legendary Mirkwood: Breaking the Dark Sorcery (Advanced)). This is in addition to virtue xp you will be able to earn from Mirkwood and Enedwaith deeds as well as the bonus amounts from festival content.

If you have already completed every virtue granting deed in game, you will have to wait a short period of time for the level cap to increase before you can start earning virtue xp for Wit.

Note that while we are not yet ready to give a formal release date, it's happening very soon.

So that's going to be an LS only quest? Or can players on live servers who aren't at level cap get some love (even with reduced VXP awards since we aren't on the same schedule as LS players)? Or players with multiple characters?

I'm still not clear why this idea of huge VXP payouts for *just* ginormous chunks of content is a thing. Instead of giving 4000 VXP for a weekly quest that requires 7 repetitions of a daily quest, you could give 400 VXP for each of the dailies and 1200 VXP for the weekly. And you could go further if the daily was 'do 5 quests' to give each applicable quest 40 VXP and the daily 200 VXP. And at the end of the week you'd still have your target met for folks who are just running one character and have the time to do the whole chunk of content, but players who don't have that kind of time can still get *some* progress. And, as another plus, the VXP awards would be broken down enough to give plaers control over where the points go rather than hoping for the best with the alphabetic/least distribution.

Also would these Legendary Mirkwood quests hang around indefinitely, or would they go away when the following level cap raise occurs (Edit: this seems to be implied by 'as long as the level cap is 65')? I ask because it raises a similar question about today's level 120 VXP quests-are those hanging around, or will they disappear because VXP grinding is intended to be the endgame activity?

Every server has the exact same opportunity to earn VXP:

    • There are level cap weekly quests on every server. The only difference is what that level cap is.
    • The same deeds are available on every server. The only difference is when you can complete them.
    • The same festivals are available on every server.

    I got another question:
With U24 you earn virtue XP through the one big deed in every region. The one that gives Motes of Enchantment. For example "Deeds of Bree-land" in Breeland.
Did I lost those XP because i completed the deeds prior to U24?
Because prior to U24 they did not give a virtue.

Based on the 4 months-per-release schedule, I would say that "very soon" is in the first week of July or so....

Yeah, I guess what I'm saying is that we used to have a system where everyone could cap their virtues through doing deeds, and folks generally didn't want to have to do all the deeds, so back in January, we discussed a new system where we wouldn't have to do all the deeds. What we have now is a system where we seem to need to do all the deeds anyway, and that's insufficient. We also have to do some number of weekly or endgame only things that for some of us are out of reach 9due to level), impractical (weekly wrappers), or just unappealing.

One of the issues for the peeps on the LSs is that the early game has loads of virtue deeds available and the only content in the game with virtues coming from instance deeds; Cairn Dum, Uragarth, Barad Guilain and one in Eregion along with all of the original Moria instances and raid. In the later game there wasn't the need to put so many virtue deed in as the cap was only 20. Even by the Lothlorien release instance virtue deeds were no more. By Far Anorian not even an advanced slayer got you a virtue rank.

It doesn't help having the meta deeds of the late game completions tripping several VXP rewards and redirecting overflow to the lowest virtue when your capping ranks on slotted. You kind of have to un-slot capped virtues to ensue you are not always sending the overflow to Wit, not so keen on ranking it myself.

A! A hint! It has to be June! Impossible for August. The exact date is a mystery. I will give my Prediction. Mirkwood earlier than expected Launch June 17th or June 19th. Perhaps a bit early, but I do love the numbers 17&19.

That would be great. I do admit patience was never one of my virtues. I've noticed a lot players wishing the early Mirkwood or content add on earlier than typical 4 months schedule. At least on Ithil sever, I cannot speak for Anor.
