Valar level boost - 120

I was happy to see this new Valar in the store already.
I am concerned that a lvl 120 char can not see it for sale though.
If I bought one on a lower level char, will a lvl 120 be able to use it? (same account)

I recall a 'Cord of the Rings' saying that is should be usable by a current lvl 120?

I was also hoping for a new 120 Valar upgrade, like the previous 50-105, at a reduced cost.

In one of the streams they confirmed that the 120 that COMES WITH THE EXPANSION would useable on LvL 120 characters. They had not decided then if the store version of it would also be able to be used on LvL 120 characters or still limited to be used on LvL 119 characters Still no new info on it since then, so I guess we will find out as soon as anyone tries. Let us know if You try.

The reason they were not decided was due to some people maybe being LvL 120 buying the Valar and thinking they gain some levels as well, then get upset when they gained no LvL at all. I don't know. Sounds a bit far fetched to me, but maybe some people could be that s...well...You kow what I mean. Nothing or very few things surprises me anymore.

Obviously an answer from a blue name is better than anything from someone else - but I believe they had said there would be no 50-120 version.

This probably has an implicit "yet" in it - when they put the expansion on the store for LP I would be mildly surprised if there is no 50-120 or 60-120 boost either already there or added at that time.

1. Will there be a patch to fix the LIs that were missing 20-27 ranks per legacy when they were converted to FA. Clearly a FA with ZERO EMPOWERMENTS was not a direct equivalence to a SA with 20-27 empowerments PER LEGACY. This bait and switch is highly unethical and there is clear evidence that a bare FA was not intended. Even if you meet us in the middle and provide +10-15 empowerment’s per legacy it would go a long way to fix that broken trust. The LIs were intended to start a player at 120 in a rough shape to get caught up with work, not start behind by 420 empowerment scrolls. I don’t even want to do the math at how long that would take to catch up even if you had all means unlocked to gather them.

2. Is there a way to switch for a correct LI when one was picked in error. At the time I wasn’t aware that the star lit legacy was the only legacy ranked and I picked a class item rather than a weapon. The star lit legacy is nearly useless on a Burglar bag compared to using that star lit legacy on a secondary role (yellow line) weapon.

Wish I had know that, too. My bad. Guess that burglar will have to live with one weapon for one tree.

I used the new valar coming with the expansion for a new char that has a reason to be anywhere near Minas Morgul. But without a 50-120 version of the new valar package I doubt I will buy any more. Don't have that much time and money left for gaming these days while moving home and looking after my old parents.

SSG did acctullay adressed this in one of the streams. In that stream at least they said No. That they had NO current intention/plan to add a 50-120 Valar. It was the stream where also 3 other staff members participated. Among others SSG_RedPanda himself, MadeOfLions/MoL and Tybur.

The game each time poses more and more obstacles to the game of alternative characters. Up character from level 0 to 130 is very difficult: level, LI, class trait points, virtues, reputation. Valar boost would solve this problem. But 1-120 is very expensive. 50-120 - would be the best option for both price and character refinement.
Someone will say: "Use the Valar 50-105." But this item, as well as 1-105, has a lot of problems that make the character go back very much and, in fact, develop the character anew. We are told: "Up character and immediately run to explore new lands." But we get a third of the character. We need to go back and do class trait points, virtues: we are still forced to complete old locations and quests. Then the question: “Why pay for the Valar 1-105 or 50-105, if we still come back and perform all the same, what we would do without the Valar?”. No need to answer.
The new "Valar 1-120" was finalized and almost solved this problem. Therefore, it is extremely strange that the "Valar 50-120" will not be added to the store... Valar is excluded from Standard Edition. Version 50-120 will not be added ... Pay now the maximum price? Oh...

What they need to do is fix the whole ILI SoE/crystal grind. There is also no reason that the Valar should have more then a free level ILI since players should be capable of doing MM with it as I'm constantly told. I'm very disappointed that players who played the game but didn't grind much are overall left with less then players who buy the Valar. And it's not just the ILI. Look at virtues. Overall most of my characters have more virtuexp then aria players but a Aria player has those maxed they need for their character while mine are all scattered over all virtues since I got them before the revamp. And then trait points....also not needed as I'm constantly told and a lot of them buried behind heavy grinds (class skill traits, deed traits etc). Never mind that 2 in Westemnet are lost to me and the one in Osgliath.

Do the math. If you can use this new Valar on a 120,that means there will be no Upgrade Valar. From their perspective there is just too much stuff in these to create a cheaper Upgrade one. Basically, you have one Valar to Rule them all.

I think the level boost is bound to character and can not be transfered. However as I am not 100% sure (not used mines yet on various accounts) it might be best You get an official response from a blue name, probably SSG_RedPanda as he is the expert on this, along with seeming to be a really nice dude. However it's Sunday, so maybe give him until Monday to reply.

back in the day and on Bullroarer Beta server I frequently applied multiple Valar Upgrades to boost Traits.
assumed Valar 120 only contained 29 Trait boost,
but my question about unbinding the 95/105/120 Valar level boost item would be useful.

You can log in and receive the goodie. The valar package is bound to account so you can move one to another character. All the contents will bind to char on opening. The 120 will get you to 92+ trait points use capped at 92.

Yes why would you use to valar boost to obtain the same trait points you are asked? Why would others feel the need to use a valar boost on a 120 when the boost doesn't raise your level I'd ask them? That has to be screwed up!
