    Clarifcation - Update 25.0.3 Release Notes

    Known Issues:

    Scaling Osgiliath and Pelennor instances can drop level 120 armour and jewellery when run at levels 121 - 130. The socketed armour and jewellery that can drop inside these instances will be updated in a future patch.


    Does this mean if we run the instance tonight, armour drops and it happens to be 120, you'll correct the already looted armour in a future patch so it's usable or are you saying any armour we loot up until the patch will useless?

    Apologies if i'm being stupid - just isn't clear to me.

    I think they are talking about armor like this that recently dropped to minstrel kinnie:



    And are meaning to update it so the minimum level does not go above maximum level, and are not intending to place armor usable for 121-130 into those instances. But that's just my guess.

    I'm pretty sure they want to revamp the loot so that the armour dropped there is weaker (i.e. not overpowered at the beginning of every new level cap)

    Yes unfortionetly SSG seem determined to make old content useless and make the game feel more tunnelled and limited. Only wanting us to run the seme few new instances included with each new update. At the same time seem to ahve no clue as to itemization, giving few choices, like mroe or less every gai gear I gotten so far from quests are for defensive use. No other choices. On tank alot of offesnive stats and too few defensive. Then suddenly with this update alot of Fate on gear pieces taking up a slot that could have been someonthing more usedeful. So while removing old choices we had, also adding new bad choices. Basically the same effect having Radiance or LoE on gear did. Making all other content useless and not worth it to run. Instead we must grind the new instances ad nauseam even if we would relly prefer to run something else and have more personal choices.

    This Known Issue is to let players know about a bug with the gear. In the future, players will get correctly scaled gear, but this is not retroactive. Currently, gear that cannot be used other than to sell for coin is dropping in this region.

    Please tell the Team to take a look at the Mordor instances and Kidzul Kalah as well. Seregost drops item levels 398/399 making it worthless to run, meanwhile Grey Mountains instances are useful for certain pieces because the loot is 400/401 and the jump in stats from 399 to 400 is making a huge difference. If Mordor loot could be increased so T2 rewards base iLvl 400 it would be useful to run for endgame purposes
    Kidzul Kalah was a scaling instance when it was released and also during Minas Morgul Beta but was turned to non scaling in a stealth change with the MM release. Would be great if that could scale to 130 as well

    I understand their reasoning for not wanting people to get the 4 essence slot gear but I really think it is ###### design. You guys have scaling instances for a reason, it lets people run more content than you can make for each new expansion, but wit this expansion it feel like you guys are just doing everything you can to force people to run only the new instances. I've never seen a cloak or pocket item come out of the new instances and some of the stat itemisation on the gear it undesirable to be so if everything scaled properly, like it should, then I could go back and do older scaled content to get what I'm looking for but not with the way everything works now. The result of this is that after my dailies if I have no more favoured chests for T2-T3 I have nothing to do so why would I stay logged in?

    Yea, they don't want to bring those pieces back but they do it anyway and then they don't know how to balance anything.

    So are You acctually now saying that if we run these on LvL 130 in the future we will get these armour pieces as LvL 130 scaled pieces and can wear them at LvL 130, as well as slot LvL 130 essences in them ???

    That to me is "correctly scaled". If run on 130 they should drop loot scaled to 130.

    Running on LvL 130 and only drop LvL 120 gear is NOT "correctly scaled" in my opinion. It really shouldn't be considerede correct in anyones opinion, as they are then not scaled to the level You run them in.
