Largely non-visible changes to improve game performance

"A number of largely non-visible changes have taken place to improve game performance in Minas Tirith. "

Non-visible you say? My graphics are on Ultra High in this screenshot. The changes are very visible and very annoying, and I haven't noticed any notable increase in performance from these changes. As you can see, players' character models very often have all textures removed from them so that they simply appear as ghosts, and sometimes their bodies disappear completely. Many other things have been visibly affected as well, such as catapult crosshairs in epic battles and enemy area of effect puddle borders which seem to now be underground, making it a hassle to try and guess where you're aiming or standing.

The missing textures on characters sadly makes it impossible to take nice screenshots at events unless everyone stands really close The big player events this summer/autumn will look really bad visually this year I'm afraid.

I wonder if these changes are also behind the floating upper body of a character I saw after the Festival started? He was cut off at the waist, and his lower body didn't appear even when I got closer.

Maybe it could be an optional setting? That way we could turn it off to get textures on people's characters when we take screenshots and film.

It's weird. Treat the game as a simulator for real life; if strangers are grey you are safe from shedding. Mask up when the color bleeds in.

If you can smell the pipe-weed smoke back away. Wanting a photo op and you are the problem. The sooner we get support for them we can all switch to panoramic screens and camera settings and back away...

    Another hotfix to interrupt events...

This is fixed and will go out with next week's patch. In the meantime, you can disable "Player Mesh Combining" under Options->Advanced Graphics to resolve the problem, but that could adversely affect performance.

I really appreciate you guys constantly looking out for the player base, something many publishers can't say. Thank you for your time!
