Run Fornost, run.
"The internet is a bubble dominated by the loudest, most unrepresentative voices; an infinitesimally small minority of a minority which, deaf to reason and the opinions of others, deludes itself that somehow it is the voice of the majority. An infinite echo chamber of shrieking, witless banality."
"Everyone draws the moral line of what's acceptable just slightly below what they're actually doing."

... How often do I switch?
Constantly.
I sometimes get into my wardrobe, mixing & matching, buying dyes on the fly... and next thing I know an hour or two has happened, lol.
Every time i change location in the game, i change my toon's outfit to match the weather & ambient of the place. Also i change the outfit depending my momentary mood. Can not forget i change it according the festival or event that is going on.
***Many times a day, daily***
Well... as an Elf, I shouldn't be vain, but... like every morning when I wake up?
Each time I get something better I guess. Which is not very often.
I wear the same outfits almost always, i don't mind so much about them. But my chicken cloak from Sandson Farm i'm always using![]()
Since 2008
It varies per character, but seems to average out to once every few years or so. Some characters have worn the same outfit since 2010, while other characters have recently changed outfits.

. . . every Third or Fourth Age.
Thought I'd say hi. Newer player and big middle earth fan, I keep asking myself 'how did I miss this game?' it is simply beautiful. After a long day at work, I really look forward to coming into the world and losing myself and reliving the world I love from the books and the movies.
I remember to change my socks every time we stop.
Whenever i receive some new outfit, which i never do pn purpose
Hey dol! merry dol! ring a dong dillo!
Ring a dong! hop along! fal lal the willow!
Tom Bom, jolly Tom, Tom Bombadillo!
Rarely.
I get a look for a character, and keep it for the most part.
Brandy: Cupcakes of Doom.
Landro: Trueheart Companions.
Oh, sometimes I'll tweak an outfit if I get a new item. And sometimes I'll do an entire makeover if I get a major item. Basically -
"it depends."

THE ELDAR. Kinship of Evernight
Twice a year (on main). I have a summer look and a winter look.
Usually when I get some new cosmetics, which is mostly during Festivals but sometimes in game cosmetic rewards are nice to wear also.
Why, don’t I look good in this?
I change it whenever there's a festival I have an outfit for but also when going in cold places.
Cosmetic look? By Durin's beard!
I’m keeping the same outfit on my woman characters, but I just have to constantly change the outfits of my elf because the (IMO) awkward standing posture of female elves makes every piece of chest outfit unsatisfactory to me.![]()

Outfit 1 - friendly in town
Outfit 2 - scary in combat
Clothing is functional. I have warm weather clothes, cold weather clothes, formal clothes and 'getting dirty saying orcs' clothes.
There was a time when I tried a lot of combinations; but now my main characters all have a kind of iconic costume set that they are wearing most of the time. The last one that I compiled, is already about three months old. With having played more than nine years, and having seen nearly everything in game that could work as an outfit; there is little left to improve on after all.
