I've only just finished the 3rd area, Stonejaws and am still waiting to hear the fantastic new music that accompanies expansions. So far...nothing, at all. Its all Elderslade music. Is this a mistake?
I know recently I've had some weird sound issues with music from other regions sticking, but it seems like whoever I ask says they hear Elderslade music too. If this is intended...WHY??? What an absolutely strange design choice. Lotro is known for its spectacular music. If we really have to deal with Elderslade music for this amount of game area, I'm just gonna mute it.
I hope this is not working as intended, otherwise much disappoint

In gundabad I have tons of new music. Maybe some others in missions but in the most cases there is new music for me.
I can confirm that there is a good deal of new music in the expansion. In addition to a main theme that can be heard in any of the sub-regions, each sub-region has it's own distinctive theme, there are three generic tracks that can play in various areas, several new combat tracks, and plenty of custom music for the Legacy of Durin story instances. In order to break up the monotony of hearing the same tracks over and over some Elderslade tracks were included because they fit thematically; considering that we're finishing up a dwarven storyline that began with Erebor, it made sense to include some of that music to tie everything together. Interior dungeon spaces will definitely skewer more on the side of re-using previous music, but on landscape there should be plenty of new things to listen to!
I've heard the mix of old and new, and love the new music (though I would've liked maybe an extra few combat tracks, given how often that kicks in). Great work, as always, DarthCeltics!

HOORAY! Thank you for answering! Im sooo glad to hear there is in fact new music.
Although not good to hear that means something on my end is broken because all I get is the same single Elderslade track over and over regardless of sub-region in Gundabad O.O
Will maybe delete and re-download.
Thanks Darth Celtics, I look very forward to hearing your new music - that I always love

I am not sure if you are person who doing sound design in LOTRO but it seems like you are... I just want to say how I think that music is very well placed in LOTRO and how much I enjoy to listen it while playing this game.
