Thumbs up U 35 B 2 New Elven style house decorations

I found these very big & gorgeous new elven style surfaces, structures & buildings usable outdoors & indoors at the Eyes & Guard Tavern. Some of them don't say on the tooltip to what kind of slot they belong but when i try them, they are still restricted to certain slot sizes. I'm not sure to what new content or old area they will be added but i couldn't resist to try them out. Many thanks to the devs for adding them as they are items that have being asked by the players! If somebody wish to check them out, i have them displayed at the address:
4 Bay Road, Tham Orbarad, Belfalas Homesteads.

Are they the new housing items mention in the BR notes? It's near the bottom.

"The following barter vendors have a few additional housing items available: Bert Bartleby in Enedwaith, Elves of Felegoth Rewards Quartermaster, The White Company Quartermaster, and Reclaimers of the Mountain-hold Quartermaster."

No. Those items are actually just decorative floor items of the gold coins, beech leaves, riverstone, and halls of memory floors.

These items were kind of thrown in with a batch of decorations from a vendor. I managed to see a few myself, but some don't even have properties assigned to them. I have a feeling that they might be a new set assigned when School & Library delvings come out. There's also some interesting Angmar wallpaper, including something called a glasshouse, that might be offered with the new currency from the Instance Cluster weeklies.

I have a request for Scenario:

Please, please, please --- do not --- gate the new Eregion housing items behind heavy Delvings system costs or any form of RNG (*as the other Eregion themed items are in the Doom of Caras Gelebren).

Dwarves have plenty of awesome new decorations that only cost silver. The Cardolan stuff is relatively painless behind the Iron Coins of Cardolan zone vender- with only some rarer items with the Delvings system in ways that make some sense. Please don't put the only awesome Elven structural decorations in the game behind endless grinds and heavy currency costs. Throw a bone to us High Elf / Elf fans I mean, sheesh!

I can do some pretty wondrous things with the Pristine Eregion housing items right now on BR; but I can only do those things on Live, or hope to do them, if it doesn't cost a pixellated "arm and a leg" for every single piece of it. Like the cost of 1,500 Delving writs for the Cardolan Beacon Tower? I honestly gave up on Live - and I was able to do that because, thank the Valar, I could run alts through Cardolan and get plenty of different-but-not-too-different Cardolan towers for iron coins instead.

In short: Please don't "mega-gate" the Elf stuff. Use what you did with most of the Moria and Erebor-themed Dwarven structural items, and the "regular Cardolan zone items," as your "loot distribution" model instead. It's such a better system- and not as terrible a headache for the player I even wouldn't mind if they cost Iron Coins of Cardolan from the same vender since it's a common currency between Swanfleet and Cardolan both

I also have a request on the Angmar stuff and am on-board with the Angmar stuff coming from the new CD, which makes sense: Is there a way to make the "Angmarim greenhouse walls" transparent, like those in the instance, rather than solid? It would be neat if you could see through them like glass, as in the instance!

    Cheers!

Just a reminder that items on Trotter do not mean they will necessarily be available via normal vendors at the launch. They are there for ease of testing. I am not sure where/if all the items have been allocated to their appropriate vendors.

We also discovered that a few vendors hadn't processed correctly, so a number of older vendors will have items on them didn't previously have!

Also also - be sure to check out the Bree-land Furnisher for a special commemorative item.

so much this. there's so few hooks that all these new decos just feel like a waste of storage space. now if a way was found to remove the hooks and let us place whatever wherever, that's another story...

I don't have to check..... this has to be the rock named "Dwayne".

That tooltip doesn't list any slot restrictions. Can it go inside or outside? Can I stick it in my music slot to hear "What's this huge rock doing here?"

    Its an Enormous Yard item.

We are aware that the Decoration Categories for all housing items are not currently displaying. There is some backend work being done on hook categories (purely housekeeping work, nothing associated with anything new for hooks).

Thanks for adding this. Low-hanging fruit and a nice little (figuratively?) piece of LotRO lore for players.

    Awesome!

Any chance you might consider making it a "huge" yard slot vs. enormous? I could think of some fun stuff to do in some of the Erebor housing if it's possible, among other places

    Cheers!

    @Scenario -

Do we have an ETA on when the Eregion-style decorations might appear? U36?

I ask because the current U35 build pretty much doesn't have them anywhere other than the E&G test vendor.

    Cheers!
