    Middle-earth Feedback: The Twenty-first Hall

    The Twenty-first Hall of Khazad-dûm lies on the Seventh Level of Moria, leading away in many directions including toward the Second Hall and the Bridge of Khazad-dûm.

    This seems to be the big player gathering place in Moria.

    I understand that it is necessary for gameplay, but it really shocked me to trek through echoing halls into a newly reclaimed space to find that they had already shipped in all of the volumes of forgotten lore necessary for a Superior Study!

    I like the recent change that put crafting, AH, and Vault in separate spaces, but there should be a mailbox in the AH just like all the others.

    EDIT: This one is not quite as long as the recent entries in the Hero's Guide series!

    It's definately the main hub of Moria, with Dolven taken honourable mention...

    ... but the town should have been left as is. Since they moved it into instances, I get frequent client crashes inside them, meanwhile before all was fine - no lag to speak of.

    The designer of the Estelden and Forochel Crafting Halls was a genious. Now if we can get him/her/them to re-design the one in the 21st Hall and in future crafting halls, by including a supplier, mailbox, and vault in the same room the game would be so much better.

    Edit - Oh and how about adding a guy that takes those Khudzul Tablets for third age weapons? Doven-view is the only place that takes those and it's really getting way too crowded there.

    Ok with the putting the vendors, AH and crafting under the 21. But couldn't you put them all in one big room, instead of 3 seperate rooms?

    I was getting terrible lag when everything was out in the open in The 21st.

    Esteldin is nice but it really needs an AH.

    I'd settle for the doors just being labeled. Thought that was supposed to be in this last patch.

    I was disappointed to see this design change. It feels out of context and destroys the lore immersion. I understand why it was done, so I can live with it. But I feel the design can be improved.

    • Remove the redundant and annoying pews in the AH. Tripping over them each and every time I enter them is unnecessary.
    • Move the Relic NPCs in the crafting area to outside. As it is now, a traffic jam inside an already small and confined space is guaranteed every time I step inside the instance to craft.
    • Whats behind door number....??? Label the doors. I don't know how many times I 'think' I am going in the right instance/door.
    • Install mail boxes in the AH and yea, the crafting area also. Why are we running back and forth between all these instances just to function in our crafting/selling jobs?

    I really like the changes here, nice job. I love the separation of the AH, Crafting/Relics, and Vault, and think they definitely help with the lag, which has been so horrible in this area.

    The lore-freak in me does cringe everytime I come to this area -- there are just way too many people even beyond the players, to me it's definitely lore-breaking.

    But I understand why it was done and do think it's beautifully created for what it is. Kudos on the changes too, Turbine -- it's so much better.
