Re: Why can't people read an NDA?

Is it really that boring in your life that you wonder why people violate a NDA? It has occured since the day it was created, sometime knowingly of the developer (known and expected leaks), known part of marketing, accepted feed back,... and at the end of the day.... useless information for people to follow that have nothing better to do.

I don't "wonder' at it at all, I think I have a generally working knowledge of human nature.
No my life isn't particuarly boring at all, nor do i choose to speculate on the life of anyone else on these boards. Please keep such assumptions to yourself, thanks
Others along with mysef were merely offering constructive feedback on how to correct a known issue, it's unfortunate this seems to bother you

I believe that is spelled Son. I fully realize it was a broad statement. I am unable to speak for anyone else's life, merely my own, nor did I at the time consider it a personal attack upon myself, merely those who were looking for a solution even an imperfect one. As it seems obvious we have nothing more to say to each other I will bid you good day and modify my ignore list.
    Good day to you sir/ma'am

I guess you could take that two ways...
No your life isnt boring but you still violate the NDA
    or
    No my life isnt boring.

I think Ill take the latter.

Peeps can be so passive aggressive... history repeats and they freak... want to know what its like, look at every game that has been released. There are leaks... its part of it.

But!... I do not condone it at all! I actually the fan of severe punishment, but no company is every going to do it (not yet... someone will eventually)

This. Just last week sometime, someone posted (in the F2P discussion forum) a question about how they couldn't find the beta server, or something. When it was pointed out to him/her that posting that question alone (ergo admitting that he had access to it) is a violation of the NDA, he ranted about how there was no NDA agreement - even going so far as to copy/paste what he saw on the e-mail (which was actually EULA sections... ). The entire thread vanished shortly there after.

    Bendin,
It is not cool to edit a post after the fact... bad form.

No, it is spelled Sun... look it up and understand the point Son. Geez... that was an easy one.

Kind of drives the whole being bright point home...

I was in the beta and broke the NDA. Turbine sent a horde of orcs to my house to teach me a lesson. I now type with one hand and walk with a limp.

Champs will be getting a 2k group heal with a 5 second CD and no induction.

Wargs will be set on fire with a 5 minute 1k per tick dot that reapplies after every release.

Minstrels will now glow bright pink when in WS in monster play.

All Vile Maw sets will be deleted and replaced with fancy summer dresses.

New Champ Skill "Polite wave!" You wave at the raid boss, since melee is death! Costs 2.5k morale.

LOL! Some of us regular posters could probably use a reminder like that.

Saying you got the invite isn't breaking any NDA, if you haven't agreed to the NDA yet. You have to agree to the NDA before being able to log into beta, but you don't need to sign anything to get an invite. (assuming it works the same as previous betas)

Of course, there are few legitimate reasons to say you got an invite though. Mostly to brag and show off. But possibly to let others know that you just might be in beta and to look you up if they also get in beta. (technically you can't even ask your kin if any of them are in it so you can meet up :-)

So are you breaking NDA by saying your not in the Beta?
