March 21st Release Date for Echoes of the Dead?!?

Ten Ton Hammer reported incidentally that Echoes of the Dead is scheduled to be released on March 21st. Any confirmation on this from Turbine?

Thats a pretty weak 'official' announcement...the 'coming soon' got more attention. at least put something in the announcement forum. There isn't even anything on the LOTRO homepage.

Well, it's good to know that if this goes live as is that my new trait will function about two out of every thirty times I log in... so long as I don't change my traits around at all... which immediately breaks it again.

The announcement was made after Turbine closed for the weekend at Pax. Look for something in the launcher and other places now that they have decent internet access. Sapience stated that the folks at Pax could use Twitter. The forums could not be accessed because the convention had grid locked the internet.

I figured they'd make the announcement at PAX. Too bad the interwebz there was broken. I wish they had set something up to release it from their offices instead of a stealth announcement via Twitter. I even got that tweet but it was a secondary clause about people being able to get their new mounts that they'd won. It slipped right by.

ok, so some other site released the news, then turbine decided to twitter it, Sapience confirmed it in this thread, Pax attendees were apparantly told about it, but nothing on the official forums? See anything wrong with this picture?

Cmon Turbine, don't you want folks that have been taking a break to come back? There should be a splashy announcement both by email to subscribers and a post on the announcement forum as well as a splash screen when logging into game. Is it that hard to advertise the release date? I don't know, it just seems like Turbine would be excited about this update, I know most of the players are.
