This is a bug. It's been added to the known issues list and will be addressed along with a number of other issues in an upcoming patch. It does not rise to the level of hotfix.

As I mentioned to you in an email, Sapience, that she probably should not have posted "future game patch" as this can lead the masses to believe it's not a close time frame (or is it?). Generalizing something doesn't help the player base acknowledge a time frame, I would think that Turbine would know this by now.

As I also clearly stated in my email to you "future game patch" can mean days, weeks, months . . . it leaves without a clear notion of what that really means. (and sometimes can be taken as "it's not on our priority" or "we'll get to it when we can" or "we know about it . . ." or "it'll be addressed shortly") -- it leaves us chomping at the bit like a mad horse.

I'm simply trying to say that it might be best to refrain from generalizing, because 'conspiracy' or 'theory' can be at play easily in the minds of humans -- we are humans, right?

However you have now said "For whatever it's worth, I've personally pushed for this to be addressed ASAP" -- this is all I was wanting to hear/see from one of the folks in the Turbine offices. It tells me "Hey, the company that is providing me some entertainment is taking my issue seriously and it should be fixed within a reasonable amount of time, they're looking into it."

So, Sapience, thank you for giving us more information. It's all I, and others I guess, were wanting to hear.

So uhh, can we hug now and you stop yelling at me and we drop the weapons? (maybe a future hug patch together?)

Just a friendly FYI: "Conspiracy Theorist" is actually an oxymoron:
(not many people do not know this thanks to our mainstream media)

Conspiracy is based off of Facts
Theorist are based off information that is not yet proven Facts

There is so much wrong in that statement I don't know where to begin.

A theorem is as good as it gets in the math and science world. Einstein's theorem of general relativity is just that - a theorem (however, GPS satellites actually account for the effect of gravity and motion on their clocks). Our observations are prone to error. So all we can do is come up with a best estimate for what is actually happening. Generally speaking, the better observations you make (information you gather), the more likely it is that your theorem closely models what is actually happening.

Conspiracy theorists tend to make less than reliable observations and illogical extrapolations, often leading to flawed theories. Obviously the corporations that control the mainstream media have some impact (whether intentional or not) on the information we receive, but that does not mean we didn't walk on the moon.

Sorry for the off-topic post, but that bothered me.

Well, he is right about the conspiracy theorists, and our "laws" are only immutable if we assume that we're currently capable of observing everything that matters - which is a philosophical debate I wouldn't want to start here.

    Angry Re: Flurry nerf?

I don't think that the Champion community should be complacent.

    > The squeaky wheel gets oiled<.

I suggest we keep posting to this thread your displeasure over the apparent lack of consideration the Flurry issue seems to be getting.

---->>>Exactly how hard and time consuming would it be to patch just this one issue??!!???

Should we be happy with the vague, and yes I mean Vague, references to a fix sometime in the future?

Unless we push as a community we will be settling for " at the convenience of the Devs" - Probably by my estimation a patch in the 2 month range if I interpret the nuance of the Dev posting here.

2 months + sound good to you?

    Stop. Just stop.

An entire patch for ONE issue? Who do we think we are, president? We're a single class. The fix will come. This "squeaky wheel gets the grease" nonsense is just childish. Be sensible.

Me, personally, I hardly ever use flurry... been able to keel whatever I wanted to see dead without it... no problems.

    It has its uses.
But is it an absolutely and ultimatively necessary skill which you sure as hell is frozen over need to depend on to stay alive?

    Absolutely not.

It will be fixed soon enough.
Until then, employ advanced skills and tactics
Dodge, weave, twist, turn, curse, hack, slash, kill. Whatever is required. In whatever order you please.

no way, we totally need an entire patch for the class. While they're fixing us they can delete ardour and bow to our iron wills, for we are champions KILLERS OF EVERYTHING

I was thinking when I saw people were still posting in this thread how it should have just been closed last week.

Then I saw the whale/shark picture and changed my mind.

Sorry but there was a 7 hour "server maintenance" today and it wasn't fixed, say what you will but its not getting fixed anytime soon.
Not trying to start trouble just pointing out the obvious.

Server maintenance is ALWAYS just server maintenance, nothing got fixed or changed. There will be a patch, like there always is, which will deal with most of the known issues from this Update.

Its true I'm way off base thinking that a 7 hour server downtime would be the perfect place to fix an issue that was implemented during the last patch that effected a class that there was no mention of any class skill changes too. What was I thinking.

It's true, you were way off base. As others have clearly stated, myself among them and in fact in this very thread on Friday when I clearly stated that today's maintenance was not game related and was maintenance.

In fact, doing a game update during other maintenance work is almost always a bad idea and is against our policies. MMO's have so many moving parts it's often difficult to understand the impact of one change in one system on another system. It's a very bad idea to implement multiple changes in multiple systems and the systems they impact at the same time. It's a disaster waiting to happen.
