In Emyn Lum, in order to get the "Master Ascender" title, one has to......ascend...off the beaten path a bit.
In order to get the "Blind Leaper" title one has to fall (jump) into several deep crevasses in Moria.
In order to get the "Ridge Racer" title, one has to traverse a ridge in Eregion not usually travelled.
..and of course....the "Well-Travelled" title by jumping down the well in the Crossroads in Moria.
of course........I'm not saying that i necessarily HAVE those titles....but hypothetically speaking.....;O)

LOL I was just going to say this too. I love exploring, and trying to see how high on a hill I can get, or just where I can go - it's nice to take a break to just explore. I've gotten stuck only once, and that wasn't from exploring but just trying to take a shortcut - ended up jumping down a small cliff, landing behind a rock. A GM helped me out, that was the end of it.
I would like to know the rules on "exploring" now, so I don't end up getting banned.
Are the people who are getting banned, banned because they're exploiting a location they're told to stay out of? Or will stumbling into a place that's off the beaten path get you in trouble i.e. just finding a rooftop, mountain, cliff, etc. that not many people find? I was thrilled to get on top of the Prancing Pony, the view is spectacular - the views are one of the things I love about LotRO. If I find a location that is new to me, and I know not many people have found, am I in trouble?
I'd like to know the rules on this now... and hope this is addressed by Turbine/Warner, where do you/we draw the line???
