    Exclamation Support staff needed.

    Greetings,

    For 2 months I have tried all support outlets that Turbine makes available to VIP players with no success. Not even a single reply or acknowledgment, to be more exact.

    Everytime I try to access the community site main webpage (http://my.lotro.com) while logged in, I get the following error:

    Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience.
    I have submitted a ticket to support near 2 months ago, it never got a reply. I have used the community site bug report tool, it also never got a reply or a fix. Previously opened a thread in here about it, no staff said a word.

    Accessing My Preferences - My Character Settings is working. All characters there seem to be updating regularly. The problem is strictly accessing the main website. It is most likely some glitch with an active widget or something in loop there. It needs staff intervention. Any reply or attention from staff would be appreciated. I have no other options on how to report this bug.

    I have the same problem.

    I don't expect them to fix this overnight (just as well since it's been bugged/down for ages now!) However, I do expect a company to be a little more active when it comes to keeping the playerbase up to date with how the issue is going, even if it's a weekly "We're still looking for a fix" - just some kind of communication to let us know that we haven't been forgotten or that they don't think it's all fixed now.

    Are you both former Codemasters accounts? I wonder if it is tied to the migration issues and will be fixed when migration is fully finalized?

    I apologize that this is taking so long to fix, but it is an issue that is still on our radar and the web development team is still looking into it. One of the steps that we needed to perform first before jumping directly into this particular issue was to get the website updating characters again. With that done, the team can now further investigate this issue, as the two could be related.

    That is, unfortunately, only the tip of the iceberg with this set of issues. I wish I could give you guys an ETA on when we'll get this fixed, but unfortunately I cannot. I will make sure to update everyone when I get more news, but until then please be patient.

    Until then, this particular thread has become the main discussion thread for this issue. Going to close this thread to keep the discussion focused into one thread for the devs.
