EU Character copy tool to Bullroarer server

I've received an invite to the ROI beta, great! however I'm not sure what going on but I cannot copy my characters to the Bullroarer server via the tool found here http://my.lotro.com/charactercopy After selecting the link and successfully logging in the list where my characters should be are empty. My character and account was originally created on the EU Withywindle server.

If I can't use my lvl 65 burglar by copying the character using the copy character tool then the only choice I have is to level up a new character to a respectable level 50+

If this is the case I can't help but feel this is a wasted invitation

Is anyone else having or had this issue?

Is the Eyes n Guard tavern not open which will allow you to auto level to 65, maybe even 75, as well as get all your traits available

Not everything that needs to be tested happens at level cap But yeah, the myLotro fixing is taking rather long time.

By the way, you may want to go to the beta forums where this issue is discussed in detail and where all the discussion of bugs/problems/concerns/unabated happiness about beta occurs. People who don't have a beta invite won't be able to access those forums.

Given that character transfers between NA and EU servers are not possible. This situation does not surprise me since you are trying to copy from an EU to a NA server - Bullroarer. At least character transfers between EU servers became available last week.

Hello all-- I have the exact same situation as Vespo in that when I click the LINK on my invitation to the ROI beta to copy my level 65 character, there is none showing at all to bring over to test.

I did get an invitation and I have gone in and tried to play a "leveled-up" character but you know, it just isn't the same as testing MY character.

If it matters-- I have two LOTRO accounts and when I switched to look at the other secondary account, there IS an active invitation to copy over three of my lower level characters to the ROI beta on that secondary account that isn't named in the letter specifically but-- I don't want them, I want my main because I know her!!! A leveled up character just doesn't feel like it plays the same as my hard-earned main one.

Anyway, the other odd thing is, regarding the suggestion to post this question on the beta forums, is that even with the invite I can't get into the BETA FORUMS! I have been invited several times, all on one account.

I have played since before the original game went live and I was beta then... so it isn't an issue of "not being allowed or invited". THIS IS A BUG!

I guess I can get on the phone but they said there would be no phone support during beta. Sigh.

It IS frustrating, it makes it hard to test the game, but perhaps others are having the same thing happen and maybe someone who knows something will see this post and advice us!! Cheers!

PS This is the account that was invited and now it looks like I have been a member since Dec 1969 lol! I love it!

PPS I am not EU but this is the closet thing to my experience I have found to link to-- I have posted about this when it first happened but my original posts are gone!? I figured they got deleted because I mentioned the word beta and even though I posted on the other secondary account to try to not "disclose" anything, I guess it was the wrong place to post-- but if we can't access the beta forums how can we ask about how to do it? EVEN WITH THE INVITE! mercy!

Both. It is not possible to do it correctly. If you request an allowed transfer today, you may find the transfer request rejected as not possible.

If you use the character copy tool, there is high failure rate. Overall my failure rate was around 40%. I am not in the Isengard beta, no idea if I would improve on those numbers.
