I'm nowhere near there so I haven't seen yet... do I really want to know? One of the reasons I stopped playing WoW was because I was tired of every armor set being a crop top and hotpants, or worse, a bikini. It seems like LOTRO is one of the few MMOs where you're still allowed to be frumpy these days so this makes me a little nervous.

This is the most realistic theory considering the sub-par quality of Isengard content (unfinished/unpolished/bugged) compared to all previous expansions. Fired, or reassigned to other projects, WB aren't stupid, they wouldn't fire "talented" artists. Or the artists simply left after the WB merge for some reason.
Just see how bugged Pit of Iron is, and how similar areas in Moria, with bridges and ledges everywhere, where polished and bug free...

If actual players become the designers the new content should rock. So, best of luck to anyone who plays lotro and applies for a job with Turbine.
    .....

Turbine is hiring People along the lines with console (Read PS3,XBOX) experience in various fields.
Among other technical jobs you also see they will deploy designers into all of Turbine's products.

Couldn't be a lot more clearer where the money is really going.

I would be an excellent fit for a number of the open positions -

    1) 20+ years of relevant experience in business development, project management, web development, and QA.

    2) 10 years of regular MMO play including LOTRO since beta, 30 years of pen and paper (D&D etc) and computer gaming.

    3) No relocation needed as I live in Southern NH and my wife commutes to Needham MA where Turbine is based every day.

Unfortunately however the timing is bad as our first child is coming in January and I am planning on being a stay-at-home father while my wife continues to work.

I hope Turbine is successful in finding good candidates for the open positions and is able to continue to improve this and their other games.
    Gladden: Dimendis (130 hunter) is my main but I also multibox a lot (6 minstrels @ 124, 6 wardens @ 122, 6 hunters @ 121, 6 Loremasters @ 107, 6 RKs @103)
