Overall, I really like the changes. At first I did not but I have gotten use to to them now. The only thing I do not like is the long cooldown timer on the Defiant Challenge skill. Otherwise great job on the update!

Yes, I like to play my warden. Especially after the Update. It's very challenging!
But in my opinion: Wardens are Tanks. Most here don't play it as a DD.
An equally equipped Warden should have at least 80% of the tank capacities of a Guardian - and a well played Warden should even be a little better than Guardians. After all, a Warden is way more complicated to play.
And what's reality? We aren't DDs, we have problems gaining Threat and a medium equipped Guardian has much less problems in Orthanc or Roots of Fangorn.
Yes, it's more challenging - but be honest: Most groups don't want the raid to be 'more challenging' than necessary, and they want to succeed at last. After all, I still feel like 2nd choice.
But enough whining - maybe I only have to practice a little more (and Turbine, if possible: Let 'War Cry' plz get way more Threat, self healing is not necessary there
Greets.
i must say, i like the new stance, i find it a bit confusing but helpful. The only problem is that i can't use any of my spear gambits in close range. I stay in assailment cause of the healing it offers, and I can do sufficient damage with my fist and shield, but i would like to see someway to use spears at close range without being forced to change stance midbattle. One way this may work is to simply remove the minimum distance, or to give wards an instant stun, so we can run and use our strong spear moves while the enemy is dazed. Dont get me wrong these changes are great, but i dont think it makes sense to have a whole line of gambits that need to be a certain distance away, and have two others that you need to get close to use. This effectivly makes you choose between spear, or fist and shield, and I believe that a good warden should be able to use all three without changing ranges or stances.

P.S. can you make it so light/fire oil applies to the spear fist shield moves while in assailment? i mean, you coat your javelin, and some moves do fire or light, and ones that are based on your javelin don't... kinda confusing =P but thanks for the awesome changes!
The days ahead as a Warden look bright, sadly I don't play anymore...

I still turn in tasks and do the occasional quest with my warden - she's my highest crafting alt now, after all, I want her to keep current.
But sadly, you're right. Our tanking ability is far less than that of a guardian, and our DPS seems to be lower than it was before the update - that could be my perception, but even if it is, it is nowhere near that of a real DPS class.
There's no reason for anyone to bring a warden to a raid in any capacity.
