LOTR or LORD of the grind fest?

ALL i got 2 say is O M F G!
Been playing for about 2 weeks got a hunter to lv 32 and a champ to lv 41,LOVED IT,then i set into the Deeds in the deed log.O M F G!
Just 2 up a skill or trait was the worst part of this game by far other then the lack of players or maybe just my server not sure but prolly not.Anyway, one deed in bree was spiders..kill 300! lolwut.

So i started to feel like this game is a asian mmo(not sure if it is or not)Got if off steam.so prolly is,.And it got worse. got up too swim-a-din or whatever they call it,i got the zone from the store (30-40)area,to lv some more and unlock some deeds,and the Grind fest saga goes on and on and on for hours and hours of WHY am i playing this?4real.Was about to pay to play untill i started killing the first set 125 of the mob,then it went up to 240 and i was doing two deeds at the same time since the mobs are on the beach...WOW is all i got to say i had to post this to not fall alsleep.And the worst of the grind fests was the bog lurkers in lone lands...LOL took like 3hours of pure W T F!!! they spawn to slow and not very many.Made me gag like 8 times.

so if anything needs to change its this at this time or i can't see anyone other then a die hard fan of lotr movies and books to even play past lv 35 and do the deeds.And from what i understand,the only way to lv a trait unless you wanna spend a few hundred on TP's...and thats just crazy..so as i ponder my addicton to see if i should even bother to log back in,just wanted to post my sickness.

It bothers me that people have lved alts...WOW that is crazy.(gags)

anyway the grind goes on like my run on sentences and should be fixed imo like my english

i almost wanna cry about the 7.99 i spent in the store...but i won't.

So when you kill 300 of this mob,300 of this mob,another 200 of this one,you kinda wanna puke.Or i mean i do..for a game with no pvp i can understand some kinda of grind but its not like you kill fast in this game,,,the champ was worse imo.Every mob felt like a elite fight..lol was pathetic.I cant even imagine making a tank/defender or whats the class called? ANyway i'll be back from time to time to kill 1000's of mobs at a time some other time.Cause the sheer amount just kills the game out fast.Or am sure does too most soon as they see 300 spiders!! maybe just this once.....again 300bears.300pigs NO WAY 4real...YES 4 REAL!!!lol

And for the fanboys...dont bother to say all mmos have a grind,yes they do but i played many,many,many mmos and never had to kill that many mobs with such a clunky/slow kill speed in my life.for just one trait.EVER.unless i missed the asian mmos that some may be used too.This is the only asian mmo i ever played.

but what they say about the players you do meet,great..the guild i was in(kin) had like 3 active players and ppl that have not logged in over 500days...WOW lol


And the overall feel of this mmo was that of a single player ps2 game.Cause if anyone has done anything with 6 othr ppl,LOL i think i got into one instance was also a sad and its not my pc thats for sure.

i know this game has a store,and am not poor,but their is just no way am gonna dump that much money into a game that failed once.To upgrade one of my toons,i'd pay to play and thats about it but at this time i don;t feel its even worth it.

So here it is................DRUM ROLL PLZ....

make the first set of kills (60 up to 125)give the trait,2nd set you know the 240- 300+()gags) for tp for the broke peeps that need to farm like this game is worth it.All those wasted hours in a game you love that one day will be gone...so imo its better to be a sub and play threw it all and unsub like am sure most do.Why farm tps for zones that you wont have,say it takes you 8hours or even more to farm for one zone.(gags) not worth it to farm nuff said...but for the traits(gags) that grind needs to come down a bit its sickning.If the classes killed faster it would be a tad better but not by much.

and when this game shuts down,do i get to keep the zones and whatnot i unlocked with cash and play in like single player mode(offline mode)?NO<NO<NO .and i know its prolly poppin at 85 but O M F G to get their and be ready just doesnt have a pay off but a boss on at the end of the ride..

And was up with the monsters? what is that a sick joke? i got ingame and was lv 85 with nothing and in one area? or did i not see something?lol

and once i seen the time its gonna take to make a toon,i don't even know if this game is gonna be around for another 3years,and dont wanna waste my money.

Well, there is PvP. You can get it as soon as you hit the level cap.

There are other kins, many that are more active than three active players by far. A good kin makes the whole experience better. I know a lot of my kinmates do all the deeds together, like I imagine a lot of kins do. It makes the slayers go by much faster.

It really gets a lot more fun when you're in an active kin. I went all the way to lvl 66 before I found a good one. All the others seemed to be run by 12 year olds, they all got in silly arguments over nothing, and they didn't do anything because there were very few people in it. Finally I found a well-run kin and it made everything a lot more fun.

You can also hit up a few of the threads labeled "Dumb things you did when you first started playing". There's a TON of good information there, some things that I never new and just started using at lvl 85!

Kudos for having the patience to grind through all the slayers by yourself!

I think the game is easy enough that I really don't do deeds and I am doing just fine. Deeds are also a good way to get cash from selling vendor garbage. Beast slayer deeds are good for the amount of hides that you collect.

You will complete plenty of deeds by just playing the game, eg. completing the quests and killing the evil things to and fro your destinations.

If you don't find setting out to kill 300 odd whatevers all that fun, then don't. The chances are you won't need the Virtue given as a reward anyway.

Its a game so play hte parts you find fun, if there are aspects you dont find fun then perhaps you should consider not doing them. But they are avaliable for those with a compulsion to be the best or improve their characters stats or who dont mind.
