I would not sweat it. Game forums in general are like that.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"

These forums are, by their very nature, a venue for political discourse. An MMO supports a wide variety of players with disparate play styles, each preferring different elements of the overall game. Each forum member essentially lobbies the government--the developers at Turbine--for those things suitable to his or her needs, while arguing against anything unsuitable. The developers must take all these points of view into account, factor in their own goals, then rule on each and every matter, through both action and inaction. Political debates, by their very nature, become heated as all sides strive for their goals. You have exactly two options: engage in the debate and lobby for your point of view, or disengage and let others decide for you.

    I thought that's a politician.
    Nothing here matters.

In any community you will find those that take pleasure in others misery. Get past it and move on. It is easier to put these people on ignore and flesh out your ideas. The Lotro team would rather listen to suggestions than some troll popping in to cause dissidence.

    Also note.

As I have learned if you are righteous the sensible players will come to your aid and defend your positions.

As you can see above there are some that feel the need to put others down. They may try to use proverbs or words which they feel uneducated people would not understand. Those are signs of low self esteem.

You can do the entire community a service and just ignore these individuals.

But seriously we do not need to address this topic as thread starters like this attract the worst of our community.

It does appear there is little good likely to come of this. Closed.
